I understand what you mean but I meant Ekta also somehow never quite repaid this kind of loyalty by giving him another show where he was asked to join from day one as main lead. In her head too she got him in only those roles which I mentioned about earlier.

He does get regular work but it’s not the same as having your own show as main lead. Let’s hope she does that now after all she has made shows with older actors like Ram, Ronit etc as main leads with roles written per their ages.

Ekta should’ve ended KZK when Cezzane wanted to quit. The show ended less than a year after he quit as the trps kept going down post his exit. At least that way we could’ve had our AnuPre in the final for which we waited for years after torturing us with that criminal buddha bajaj with Prena. And why did ekta keep wanting to bring in long leaps?? No wonder many actors would quit her shows because they obviously didn’t want to play such old characters when they were young irl. Amar quit for the same reason. Cezzane too and many other actors as well.

Right now again she’s showing Tuhir in such old characters age when both are 49/50 irl. She shouldn’t brought such a long leap of 6 years and that too so fast when it wasn’t needed and show is still on top. They decided to bring in leap in October when the ratings was 2.2. TOI reported at that time about a long leap coming. Even if she really wanted a leap, the max she could’ve shown was a 2-3 year leap. First introduced TuHir at 38 years marriage when she could’ve reduced and introduced them as 30 years old marriage and now brining such long leap so fast

She should’ve introduced TuHir as 25 years couple or at most 30 years of marriage couple for this season. She anyway isn’t following S1 completely as there Mihir was in 80s by the end of S1. So here she could’ve introduced TuHir as 25 years marriages couple

He became a replacement specialist and since then hasn’t had a show of his own as a lead which had him in the role from start to end like Kutumb or even Kyunki.

It also made him be the guy who is the lead who dies in the end as the heroine ends up with the other guy. He is the one who plays roles like Rajendra Kumar or Salman Khan - loves the girl, loses the girl as girl doesn’t love him back in a romantic way.

He could had a career as leading man as good as Harshad Chopra and fan following like him if he didn't played replacement roles. Harshad all shows are iconic and his pairing very remember- worthy

But I would say Hiten still did good as revenge seeking Pratham in KZK. He brought the power and determination in Anurag character while cezxane was always the poignant and forgiving lover. His roles in kutumb ,kyonki, KZK and Pavitra Rishta were leading while after that he became a more of side/supporting actors in shows.

I have noticed that all these producers easily forgive or mend ways with male actors even if they had very nasty fallout with them but with female actors it takes a lot of time. Whether its ekta ,Gul or even Rajan shahi.

And that sounds great ekta stood by shweta. That's why she's so nice about her. Also those actors never complaint about 20 hours shoot even when it's so brutal. Its never genuine complain or being angry.

I think she was a minor when they met; married by the time she was 18 and at 19 was a mom. Similar to Urvashi. Both regretted their marriages and got divorced.

Yeah, Shweta rarely speaks about that time but I have watched her talk in one or two interviews where she was immensely grateful to Ekta; not just for standing by her but actively helping her also get a divorce and file restraining orders against that man. She arranged some lawyers as well. Which is why she always talks so nicely about Ekta. It’s not about buttering her up for another show as many presume but for this.

Yes, Ronit owns a security agency. Subhash Ghai is close to him, like a godfather and helped him set this thing up. His agency primarily provides security to Bollywood people, can’t remember what it’s called.

But she did take her time. Rajiv took 2 decades. Cezanne too. AmarU also had some drama but he's back

Talking about AmarU it's nice he's back and makers can use kyuki scenes with him. I wonder if he wasn't back if it will hit that hard

I think the thing with mending ties with male actors also comes from the difference in the way men and women operate.

Guys would beat each other up, cuss and then they can sit down together and drink, laugh and it’s done.

We women hold onto grudges longer and aren’t as easily forgiving probably because we don’t get to display physical aggression or verbal aggression as often as men. They get it out of their systems, we preserve it within ours and so patching up becomes rare in case of women. We also tend to get more personal, hit below the belt - men will literally do that - kick each other in the balls if need be, but can still go back to being bros if there’s at least one mutual friend to help.

With women that doesn’t happen. We get nasty and unforgiving; and then our egos don’t allow us to mend fences.

No if Amar wasn't there the show wouldn't had worked in my opinion. For Mihir role only two people are fit one Amar and second Ronit Roy. Only these two actors have calibre and screen presence to stand opposite Smriti Irani. Whatever the new fans say but this season Kyonki is revolving around Mihir and tulsi and this is their story in late stage of life. All other characters are supporting roles
