Watched Dhurandhar finally even though i am very sensitive of Violence since i heard so much praise of it.

My review is i really enjoyed the film and even though uts ling, you won't realise that this much time passed and it makes you glued the seats.

First i really really like to acknowledged Dhurandhar team as guys they really did dip research. So manu efforts they put in. Now this is called real spy movies.

All actors did including supporting cast really really fab job.. Would like to made this kind of more cinematic movie for which you really feel like you paid money fully paid of.

Since i likes to watch movies in theatres, let me tell you i gerally prefer evening shows only but this is my first film in which each seat of movie is filed from very first row to last one..full theatre i have seen after ages.

Glad a journo like upala is calling out the negative PR still going on against ranveer, even others have noticed it and are calling it out. Now that the movie is doing so well they have found a new narrative to try to drag him down, they just don't want to see him successful, its unbelievable how they are not stopping

Saw it, it's a brilliant brilliant film hats off to the team. So well written and well executed and everyone has brought their A game into it. It's a rare occurence when every department of the movie from acting to direction to dialogue to editing to background score to the music and action choreography everything is top notch and everyone has given it their all. You can literally see the effort and the blood, sweat and tears that has gone into making this film. It's gonna be a long review please bear with me coz I have a lot to say.

First of all coming to the story it is so well written and the way the screenplay progresses it just grabs you from the get go. The way it's smartly divided into chapters which makes you anticipate and get exicted for what's coming next coz the name of the chapters kinda hint towards it. You barely feel the 3.5 hrs runtime except for the last bit where it slightly drags but overall the pacing is really good.

One thing I really want to clarify is that the movie is anti terrorism it's not a propaganda movie and you will feel for the victims of terrorism without it being too in your face. So yes the emotional quotient is pretty high in this movie and the way certain scenes are shot like the suicide attacks and certain violent scenes they're very realistically done I'm amazed that how did they pull it off? I've seen that kind of detailing only in Hollywood so far. That was like very impressive for me.

Coming to performances I think the whole world knows it by now that everyone killed it. Even the supporting cast even the debutante Sara not a single false note in acting not a single beat is missed. The casting is so to the point that character stands out even the background actors. Ranveer the storm within the silence has acted through his eyes and conveyed everything without saying a single world. Akshaye Khanna is so menacing and swaggy he is just owning it and despite being the bad guy you still feel for him at times coz he has this emotional vulnerability about him that just catches you off guard. Arjun Rampal is very impactful, chilling and scary in his role. The way he delivers those dialogues in his deep baritone voice uff! goosebumps!. Madhavan is brilliant completely justifies his part you forget that's it's him onscreen and only see Ajit Doval that's how good he is. Sanjay Dutt is cool and stylish and his entry scene with the background music is just wow! Full seeti maar moment. Also special mention to Rakesh Bedi he is very entertaining and plays a corrupt politician to the T. And the guy who plays Rehman's brother very likeable and very good looking guy. All the actors in Rehman's gang and also the opposite gang too good they've all nailed it. Even Rehman's wife she doesn't have much screen time but leaves an impact. Also Sara is here to stay what a strong debut and strangely she has chemistry with Ranveer despite the age gap which btw is addressed in the movie.

So overall it's a must must must watch everything is great about this movie expect for the slight drag towards the end and a slightly choppy action piece towards the end. But everything else is almost perfect. If you are just a cinema lover just go for it you'll love it. It deserves ATBB status it's that good.

My rating 4.5/5 stars
