Yeah but his target audience might be different. BB audience is a different thing and not everyone is able to sustain their popularity post the show either, even the winners. But yes the show gives them enough exposure and they get more recognition.

it was a classic damage control move imo. Warna iska wild side kaafi bahar ata.

He definitely cleaned up his language but at the same time was quite favored and given a lot of advice through third parties. Despite that he still showed unlikeable traits. Farhana/Tanya simply overshadowed him at the last week so not people noticed through his BS.
