The freeloaders topic comes every season. But in each season, you need each type of character. Imagine only the so called backbenchers group alongside Farhana . Kyaa hota season mein. Only faaltu ke mudde pe fights.

You need good and bad characters both.
And if gaurav and Pranit were contributing nothing to the show, they could have been evicted like nagma and awez. We all know makers hold the key for eviction up till finale.
Gaurav and Pranit have survived most no of nominations , that too some of the very tough ones. So they have earned their place too.
This also means that audience want to watch gk and pranit too along with others . Makers cannot sideline audience wish completely .
