These points were mentioned in several articles, but it’s not clear what the makers actually have in store for the audience. I sometimes feel that producers make creative decisions mainly to project that their storyline is performing well, assuming that whatever track they show next will automatically gain audience support. Mukta seems to fall into that category. A few years ago, another female producer faced a similar situation, her ego got the better of her. The channel had given her an opportunity to add some spice to the existing story, but instead, she introduced a major leap and replaced the lead actress, which backfired badly.
In Mukta’s previous show she successfully got the leads married and delivered some good romantic scenes. However, in this show, she hasn’t lived up to the expectations she set for the audience. I understand that not every phase can be perfect, but continuously ignoring audience feedback and preferences is disappointing. We patiently waited through several episodes to see Manvik bond deepen and their relationship grow, but instead, we got reduced screen time for the leads, their scenes being chopped, and the villains dominating the storyline.
