The whole nepotism debate is two pronged - one that people get a break easily and two that people who don’t cut it get repeated opportunities easily. Getting the ear of a director fair and square I agree with you, but this isn’t acting no Director agrees to put a bad song in their movie for you. He’s on BB now because of his feud with T Series, his brother has all but been driven out of Bollywood. He was dropped from several movies because of his refusal to churn remixes and if he was all that and from such a big family woh BB pr hotaa nahin.

By that standard, even Chunky Pandey wasn’t a successful actor, yet Ananya Pandey still counts as a nepo kid.

Nepotism isn’t about whether your parent succeeded - it’s about access. It’s about the fact that your surname opens doors that others have to knock on for years.

Yes, Amaal is talented - no one is denying that. His compositions speak for themselves. But it’s equally true that he had direct access to studios, producers, and networks because of who his father, uncle and grandfather were. That’s not hate for his craft...it’s just the privilege of proximity.

Talent and privilege can coexist. One doesn’t cancel the other. But let’s not act like a struggling newcomer from Kanpur or Shillong could walk into the same studio and get the same chance Amaal did....

I mean Ranbir is a good actor and Ahaan has done good as well but still nepo toh hai dono....and there is absolutely nothing wrong in being a Nepo... It's not their fault that they are born to their parents..but accept the privileges as well..

And I again mention I absolutely love his songs ..no disrespect to his talent ❤️
