As far as I know she had auditioned and makers had liked her video. Sam also mentioned this in an iv (she didn’t take Ashi’s name but indirectly stated) but meet was supposed to go off air in mid Nov and makers couldn’t wait till then for gen leap. I guess that was the reason for dropping her.
