GK doesn’t jumps into others fights. He is clear about it. He lets that person shine.
Jab Mridul v Malti ho raha tha, he just stood next to him and never spoke in between. Jab Mridul sabko Tanya ke baarein mein bol raha tha, tab he was making others to be quite and let Mridul speak.
Perhaps - not discounting that this may be his rationale for it - but it can come across as not being supportive in that instant - and it did come across to me that way previously. Matter of interpretation I think.
And I also agreed similarly to when Ashnoor and Bajaj felt that GK, despite not being supportive of them in those matters (in their view) acts very commanding when it comes to captaincy and so on - tum yeh karo, tum woh karo. Some people will appreciate such a directional approach, and some won’t. And I think they’re entitled to their opinion - as GK is to his.
Take for instance the promo - GK is telling Ashnoor ke “main bacchon ki team leke chal raha hoon” - she likely won’t say anything. But to me - it’s fine to point out ke what they did is childish, but not to imply ke their actions are a liability to him - which is what he’s doing there. Everyone makes their own choices there, and he’s free to make his. Just my two cents.
