Jhanvi is right. She used common sense. No experience is needed to understand it. or may be its a thing for those wives whose husbands sleep/get physical with other women and they keep on dealing with it.

Personally, I find the distinction between emotional cheating and physical cheating quite superficial. For the partner who gets cheated both can be hurting (if fidelity is important for that person).

But I can understand if the one who feels cheated still keeps being with the other especially when the couple's interaction still is a lovable one or there is a mutual consent to stay together because of children or other circumstances. Marriages shouldn't become a prison or a battlefield - then better go separate ways.

How two people want to define their relationship is none of my business. They can be polymorous, open marriage, swinger's or good old monogamy....Sanu ki? Its a personal decision and should not be a subject of Scrutinity in the name of Sanskar/Ethics.
