This is probably a big reason why they’ve done this. Amla ka group ke bina nahi hoga uss ghar mein. And they want Amla as the lead on that side - Zeeshu is needed there and they can’t have Baseer outshine him. It also helps that Baseer never took an opportunity to go against Amla.
