Those were the good old days when India-Pakistan matches used to be so interesting and nailbiting. It used to be a pleasure to watch those matches then. Each and every player of both the teams apni jaan laga dete they to win. Now woh baat nahi rahi.

Congratulations to India for their all-round performance. smiley32

Who will stop this Indian team and how? More importantly, when will this Asia Cup give us a close game? We have four teams going at it today in the first double-header of the tournament.

I never support these boycott-like moves.

Instead, I believe we should have faith in our players and wait patiently to see their success. Back in the day, we followed matches with deep sentiment and emotion. The first thing we did was open our eyes to the image of God for blessings, and then we’d sit in the exact same spot on the sofa if our players hit a four or a six....as if our little rituals could help them win! The competitive spirit still exists, but something feels missing now. Is it the natural talent? The fierce rivalry? Or has the overhype itself taken away from the players’ true skills?

Two matches today?

So they had one match on Saturday Sunday and 2 on Monday?

Who made this schedule

Ok I just read the commentary. Seems the Pakistani captain wasn't even invited to share his views in the post match presentation ceremony. They had Kuldeep speak being POTM and then immediately winning captain birthday wishes followed by his discussion and the end of the same

Insulting sportspeople/players is wrong. Everyone should be respected.

Anyway, I am happy for our players win against Pak. smiley1

According to Pakistani logic they won the match because India lost 3 wickets. smiley14

Mike Hesson, Pak’s coach, in the post match PC said the reason Pak captain didn’t participate in the presentation ceremony was because of the lack of handshakes after the match.

So it is not that they weren’t invited. Pak players themselves chose not to have any part of it after what happened after the match.
