Who had stopped the makers from reuniting the leads?? Nobody....but don't you think there were 1001 other ways to properly show reconciliation & reunion, instead of unnecessarily going down this indignified cheating route, nobody would've really mind then & it would've still worked for TRPs owing to the fact that this is a legacy show which has its own loyal audience base
