Mansi wasn't afraid of punishment, Kartik didn't emotionally blackmail Naira to think of their marriage, before punishing Mansi. Goenkas apologized, Surekha begged and fell on Kaveri Singhania's feet to spare her daughter from punishment. Kartik got to know truth, just before getting married to Naira, confessed this truth to Naira in the form of a letter, as nobody let them meet before marriage, in case she wanted to call off the wedding, but he misunderstood her "beeti baton ko bhool kar agey bharna" while meeting her in secret just before marriage, he thought that Naira forgave Mansi after reading letter. Naira's marriage didn't end even when she was held responsible for Kartik's brother Shubham's death, even when Suwarna mata had her panic attacks alongwith sudden mamta attacks on seeing Naira's face. Mansi was sent abroad, though I still wish, Naira punished her by sending her to juvenile detention center.

@red No Abhira isn't same as Naira. Not saying Naira didn't eventually became Goenka's doormat, even though she tried to change them a lot, but nobody can ever surpass Abhira in being a doormat. Kartik wasn't a partner like Armaan, his situation was completely different. Kartik wasn't indebted by his family to let them humiliate Naira the way Vidya mata and KP did in the past. Also Naira had Singhanias, her father Naitik to rely on, unlike Abhira. The only time Kartik was irredeemable, when he questioned her fidelity but he got punished for 5 years. He blamed and punished himself for her death (fake death).
