If I have to think abt Karan-Nandini helping Tulsi ...IDK Tbh...in S1 - Initially Gautam and Sahil were parallel leads and Karan was introduced as a character with grey shade...he was not given a lot of importance until tulsi brought him to SN...He was not antogonist but someone with grey shade fighting for his mother mandira...but once he came to SN - Gautam and Sahil were no more parallel leads - it was Karan ...thatz when he became a centralized character of show with a lot of weightage - he was involved in taking decisions related to Family and Business... Gautam being eldest son or Sahil who was shown to be smart were no more holding power...It was Karan all the way commanded everything...Even when Tulsi was thrown out of SN - Tulsi entrusted SN to Karan not to Gautam or Sahil....so you can see him throughout series having lot of screen presence apart from Mihir-Tulsi...He used to literally worship the path Tulsi walked on..basically he became her ladla beta supporting her in everything...I think it was called out too that Karan was Tulsi's fav son by Juhi...she read Tulsi's diary...Though sahil spent lot of time with Tulsi, though Gautam was her biological son, Karan became her fav.

Along with this nandini entered and KN love story became centralized...so if you see the pattern Karan-Nandini and Ganga were give a lot of screen time and tracks...so they used to help the family dynamics to go-on...supporting tulsi...if you see there were many tracks revolving around them...and now in S2 its established that this will be story abt Tulsi and GenZ kids...so GenZ will take centre stage...however I am unable to connect to storyline but thatz a different matter...If karan nandini stays in SN and help tulsi - there wont be much weightage..They will be like any other supporting character is what I feel...so its better if EK plans about a completely new show to explore dynamics of KN instead of getting them stay in SN supporting tulsi when entire focus will be on GenZ

They showed in flashback that Kesar was cuddling Ansh when Raj Bhasin entered. He snatched him thinking it was his son. And, then gave him to someone else. Kesar gave away Harsh to Tulsi.
