Amar has always been overacting since past 25 years. Its only because of the character of Mihir, his good looks and his chemistry with Smriti he got fame and recognition.

I guess Hiten is busy with other commitments that is why they can't give him a full fledged role now

I didn't find him cringe but I find lots of difference in his character in this season. If you look back in yesterday's episode he was totally against Tulsi. He didn't try to understand her fear. He just wanted his daughter to be happy. Nothing else mattered.

And, what to say about Pari. I feel she's getting married to avenge her ex. She's a show off. And, the way she spoke to Nandini I wanted to slap her.

So 2 of the new gen kids look good, i.e.Ritik and Angad. Pari is a brat, she is immature, and just another papa ki pari. Angad is shown loving and respectful of Tulsi, will have to see how his story with vrinda proceeds. Ritik and Munni are given some sweet moments, will have to see if it will lead somewhere

Pari is a brat and I guess she's that type who likes to show off her richness while both Angad and Hrithik are down to earth. Let's see how she adjusts at her in laws. She will soon realise her life is not a bed of roses.
