What they did initially went well because Priya's template was Kashaf from ZGH, with her dad abandoning her and marrying to get a son. The thing is, that felt such a weird track to include as a character trait. Disha rocked with being Priya, tho.

It ended up happening the same way it went in ZGH. At least Kashaf's change was covered better and felt more believable.

The reason why I got attracted to the show was Priya 's character...and reason is what you mentioned.. similarity.Kasaf from ZGH...and we both love ZGH a lot...

Yeah Disha rocked as Priya... whatever butchering took place,she always gave Priya the dignity and poise ...till the end....and she was so subtle..never loud or ott

And about HC and Shivangi in BALH... chemistry just didn't click for me...I mean chemistry doesn't just come with hot scenes....it shines when actors are standing miles apart....and just one look..

True, I think we both tend to get attracted to couples where there is that intense pull of attraction- not just physically but also emotionally. And showing emotional attraction on screen is such a tough job to do. One can show a person's beauty as something special, but their personality? Hard to show unless actor knows how to perform.

Maybe why we tend to like actors who have depth. In both of the shows in this case, the male leads can act so well. For me, Krushal is a bit higher than Namik, but hey, Namik was good in EDKV too.

It's in intent Diii....With Prarthana I can see that their intentions have been right...She comes with such a massive disadvantage of lack of proper education..but they made sure that it is not her identity... She is still strong inspite of that And made sure that her husbands the ML even though is flawed but never ever judged her for that ....like it features no where in the picture in their relationship.....and they actually have shown multiple instances of her actually being intelligent and smartness that is not slave to formal education

.Now when I watch the earlier episode of our previous show (I don't even want to take the name...as it does not even deserve that much 🤣)... Leena's intention from the very beginning was to spread toxicity and toxicity only...We actually thought that may be they are creating a beautiful set up with lots of emotional intimacy and obstacles for both of them to rise with their love and bloom...And we actually accepted all the toxicity in the beginning...And I anyway have a PHD in being delulu and finding good in every crap story as long as I want to be with that show🤣🤣🤣

The way that woman named Leena Gangopadhyay who btw is the chairman of women commission " potrayed women in that show . With not an ounce of dignity, self-respect...and projecting them as arrogant,cheap, delusional and what not ....I mean all kinds of tortures that are possible in the universe,they subjected leads to everything...when I say everything I mean it... everything....such a sadist writer .

A show with more than 550 episodes...and leads didn't live as husband and wife even for a day 😡😡A shame in the name of writing that show is

She probably wanted to bring Ishti Kutum track there, where people supported the PL more- aka didi. which worked in WB at that time well, considering the actress there was our Appu di.

But since the leads were more popular and the Wider belt audience are not necessarily like Bengali viewers, it backfired so badly here.

Hope she won't make the mistake with Gen 2 and Ishani. Already it is icky with love triangle with half sisters and an adoptive mother-daughter respectively.
