Had few hours break from the discussions….. and pondering on ARS’s motive to save Mannat.

Up to listening to her crushing words to Mannat and Shruti following the hall drama I was convinced it was all a plan to save Mannat, to save Malla from being sent to jail/divorce and thereby saving herself. But seeing how she fought off the thugs and even got knifed in the bts made me wonder if ARS genuinely saved Mannat. The ‘bravery’ was convincing but more that she was yelling she was Mannat’s mother, in plain view of the cctv cameras?? This being her most guarded secret!

But I’ve come back believing it was hatched, she knows Mannat has a soft heart and pulling the victim card to play on her sympathies is her last chance to save Malla. Particularly taking into account the list of ARS’s past actions as @Moor has listed above, and her very hurtful and vicious words to Mannat that she wished she’d killed her as a baby and not left her at the sea shore only moments before.

ARS is a master manipulator after all.

In the OG, very similarly Melissa paid goons to mock mug her and Cennet, and in the ‘attack’ Melissa fought off the attacker and was knifed in the leg to gain Cennet’s trust and win her sympathy.

I had another thought running in my bead, like you said she is trying to gIn sympathy from Mannat since Anirudh is back in picture, he wants revenge and she needs a strong support. Who better than his daughter against him. This saving would make it easier for Mannat to believe ARS's truth and when time comes she can use her as a weapon against her father.

Also remember the thing about mother going against the daughters to save herself. Here ARS went against Malla to save herself.

Do you guys think in future Puneet will ever collaborate with Malla on any stints or this is once off seeing as he is still sweating bullets from the current collab🤣🤣The guy had even missed dinner

At the moment I doubt, he is shit scared he could still be caught and beaten up black and blue by vikku . Now after last night's episode he is also scared of Vikrant's Mannat who also has a criminal mind

1) Mannat doesn’t yet know Anirudh is her father, so hasn’t developed any fatherly bond with him. Only that without his help she would have still been in jail.

But as you say if Mannat comes to know he had r*ped Sonia she would without a doubt be very against him, irregardless he is her father, and in turn be drawn to ARS……. but this is too early in the storyline for it to be ARS’s motive for saving Mannat in this attack.

BUT will happen later (as in OG which was sad)

2) I wonder what/why Anirudh wants revenge from Sonia ??

The way Vikrant goes "Agar Mein hota naa, Mein yeh mehrbaani nahee karta" this was done so brilliantly by Adnan with that smirk adding a hint of Vikrant's frustration, him wanting justice for the kids

I am still mad the case somehow got dropped and Mannat was ok to walk away 🙄
