Dev was just shown constantly guilt ridden that he left Meethi behind and it was shown he is still lost in her memories cuz he made her paintings etc. They showed that he loved Meethi but didn’t have the courage to leave Anu due to Malini’s sake.

Overall he was just shown spineless and hapless. He went back to the village once to apologize to Meethi and tell her that he want to give Imlie and Meethi their rights in his life but Meethi rejected him cuz she said she didn’t know he was married when they had their affair so now that she knows he has a wife and daughter, she can’t accept him again. Dev aise hi rota hua waapis chala gaya 🤷‍♀️😂

NOPE....buddha Dev treated it like his jawani ki mistake 🤣🤣. Phir baad main he just apologised or imlie ko bhi support karta tha ki meri beti hai but he was never "in love" with meethi. Infact ek point pe toh meethi even started living in his house after getting married to SK when imlie was fighting for aditya and trying to show Malini's real face to everyone 😂😂. Yeh dekho NM ji even made a gif when his wife was pissed ki kyu ghar pe aayi hai rehne 🤣🤣.
