CHAPTER 1

Shivansh frustrated and angry about the stolen evidence but hold himself from venting on Prarthana, whereas Bua Maa still try to manipulate her way . Sonalika overhears them but doesn't fully understand.

Sonalika angrily grab her phone walking out of the place. She had her investigation on how Shivansh was attacked and found out it was Payal .

The doorbell rang and Payal sluggishly reached out to the door opening it.

Sonalika ?, what are you doing here? "

What gave you the right to attack Shivansh ? You almost got him killed " Sona say

What do you mean ?"

Don't you dare try to act smart Payal shah I know you are behind everything and i even have evidence to proof you are a criminal"

Where is the evidence , what evidence, I did nothing wrong , I was just ....

Before Payal would complete her sentence Sona had landed a slap across her face " shut up Payal . You have absolutely no right to try to take a life and certainly not Shivansh life . If there is anyone that will destroy Shivansh it should be me and not you "

Payal mum rush to Sona " how dare you Sonalika? ,why will you hit my daughter?, do you think because your father is rich means you can do whatever you want "

Sonalika smirk "Mrs Shah I guess you didn't instill any morals in your daughter that's why she can be so vulgar and utterly crazy and that's why today I will teach her those morals "

Do you think I am so stupid Payal to show you the evidence, so you and your mum can destroy it ? . No ,instead I have called the police and they are on their way here ."

Payal hold her face still shocked by the slap

AT THE POLICE STATION

Raunak run in assuring Payal he will get her out . Sonalika leaned to the wall lazily .

Why have you arrested Payal ? Why will you say she attempted to kill Shivansh? "

Mr Zaveri if I am you , I will keep quiet and walk away because my patience is quiet low and I might also say you are an accomplice"

May your little brother join you ?" Raunak walk in with flowers in his hands " I didn't know I had a brother mum just told me "

Their eyes direct to the door all perplexed by his words

"What are you doing here , Raunak and what nonsense are you saying" Shivansh said walking to him

" I know I have done a lot of stupid things but I just came to rectify things , you are my older brother "

Prarthana and the other ladies walk to the living room equally shocked

Raunak what are you saying?"

Mum told me everything she said I shouldn't fight with you anymore"

What trick are you trying to pull Raunak , I won't buy your nonsense, leave before I throw you out"

Shivansh he just said aunt Smita told him the truth and he wants to rectify things"

Are you supporting him over me ? , you are my wife "

It's ok Prarthana I know it won't be easy for anyone to believe me but I have really changed"

Some days back Sonalika had gone to the Zaveri mansion venting out her anger on Smita after she found out from Bhavesh how she hindered Prarthana and Raunak wedding.

Raunak pulled her away warning her from insulting his mother

" Your mother destroyed lives Raunak including yours "

It's in the past now if you are angry , pour your venom on the right person which is Shivansh, you have successfully arrested Payal so now who will support me ?"

Sonalika smirk " really fine , no man is an island , let's ruin Shivansh together but you are too reckless and I am not "

As for Payal , she will be released soon my uncle is a police commissioner that was to make a good impression in Shivansh and Prarthana heart "

Prarthana and Shivansh have a big argument about Raunak

Two days later Raunak called Prarthana out , she hesitantly pick he asked they meet . She went out secretly trying not to be seen by bua Maa

"Prarthana I am sorry , I know you can never be mine again and now you are my brother's wife, so I will respect our relationship "

Yes believe me, look I know you don't fully trust me neither do Shivansh but I have changed, mum feels bad too , she made food for Shivansh "

Raunak smile evily as she walk in

"Why are you here again ?"

Shivansh ignore Prarthana as she shows him what Raunak brought

" I already told you , Raunak is a liar , stop believing his lies and leave me alone, I already have a bad headache" Shivansh angrily reach for the bathroom door

Prarthana sigh sadly talking to herself " he just needs time Prarthana , give him some space "

Sonalika smile happily touching Bua Maa feet surprising her " won't you hug me ?"

Don't say sorry Aunt I know you love me and must really want me for Shivansh but he didn't think about us he only thought about himself but now I am fine "

Tanya hold her hand " I am sorry Sona my brother is going to marry you soon once he divorce Prarthana "

" I don't take back what that isn't mine , he is not mine anymore "

Will you still hurt Shivansh" Bua Maa asked worriedly

No what time do I have to hurt him ? , I want to start a new and I will be going to London soon so that I can have peace"

Why don't you just stay here ?" Tanya said concerned

No I will be staying with my mother " She ask about Shivansh and Prarthana while Bua Maa tell her they are in their room .

Prarthana force Shivansh to sit massaging his head

"Shivansh how do you feel being touched by my golden hands " Prarthana teased

Really I actually need money , why don't I amputate your hand and sell it ?"

Shivansh!!!! " Prarthana tapped his shoulder playfully

Can I come in?" Sona said faking a smile

Prarthana nervously take back her hand from Shivansh hair

You don't have to feel scared Prarthana, I am hurt , very but I won't vent on you because you didn't hurt me and even now I still can't vent on the one who hurt me because I love him so much " Sonalika smile touching Prarthana's hand " I would be leaving soon and for good so always take care of this annoying person with you "

Shivansh feel guilty but look away " when are you leaving "

In a month or so , I have to go now"

Prarthana hug her tightly " I am sorry, I wish you a good future "

Sonalika smile holding in her tears but she still harboured hatred for Shivansh

My Bua Maa birthday is coming soon I am sure she would want you to attend" Shivansh uttered

Sonalika nods in agreement

Prarthana and Shivansh later went to the streets . They had street food and it seemed new to Shivansh . They were happy in each other company and Prarthana blurted out she used to have street food with Raunak , it irked him but he maintained himself and tried to stay calm as she was genuinely happy and enjoying herself.

Prarthana walk with Gayatri when she sees a child almost getting hit by a car . She quickly ran forward pulling the kid out of the way loosing her balance, when a hand save her from behind, it was Raunak .

The child thanked both of them and his mother bless them thinking they are a couple but immediately Raunak stopped her saying Prarthana is his sister in law . Prarthana was clearly moved and touched , he asked she and Gayatri to join him for street food which they agreed Instantly.

On reaching home Prarthana met Shivansh driving in they walked in together. Prarthana stole glances at Shivansh wondering when he would finally tell her his decision on their relationship.

Payal run in front of Shivansh feigning helplessness and hurt.

"Aren't you meant to be in jail ?" Shivansh said angrily " who let you in ?"

"No , no please help me Mr Randhawa, Raunak wants to kill me , look at what he have done to my body I was beaten so badly and mistreated because I am a woman "

What are you saying Payal , you are always lying , Shivansh don't listen to her Raunak will never hit a woman , neither will he hurt her" Prarthana defended

Prarthana" Payal started crying " Raunak plotted the attack on Shivansh and made me have the fall , he forced me to do those things and said if he eliminated Shivansh you would come to him "

Raunak is a crazy boy and he can do it that boy can do anything Shivansh, do not listen to this wife of yours she will always support the Zaveri family " Bua Maa taunted

No Shivansh she is doing all this to hurt Raunak "

What will I gain ? I only wish you would believe me yes I will also be in jail but Raunak shouldn't be roaming freely "

Payal have never been up to no good and this days Raunak have been trying to make amends "

Yes Shivansh, Raunak isn't that bad " Tanya finally spoke

Yes Prarthana by coming here frequently just to see you" Bua Maa pressed further " After all what should we expect in your eyes Raunak is gold and Shivansh is stone "

Please the police will soon get to me I know you are the only one who will get me justice, miss Sonalika also believed Raunak blindly and blamed me for everything"

Shivansh had already called the police asking them to meet him at the Zaveri mansion . Prarthana tried stopping him

Shivansh, Raunak is your brother , what are you doing? Payal is lying, Raunak will never....."

Prarthana couldn't believe her ears she repeated his words " your dear Raunak "

Shivansh went to the Zaveri mansion arresting Raunak . Raunak eyes were filled with rage not just for Shivansh but for also Sonalika. She is using us as puns " he thought walking away with the police

Smita grabbed Shivansh hand begging him to forgive Raunak and not arrest him . He was shakened and felt emotional but ignored her and left , he was angry and jealous. His mother loves Raunak so much and even his wife is ready to defend Raunak anytime.

Sonalika laughed wholeheartedly after hearing the news of Raunak arrest and also how Prarthana was defending him .

"Now Shivansh I will break you anyhow I can , your dear wife is defending her friend and the mother who left you is crying over her precious son . Poor Raunak he must be so mad at me now but what can I do I have to continue to put doubts in Shivansh mind "

Sona can I come in ?"

Yes mum ", she sat up smiling at her mother " please mum don't tell father about Shivansh, I know he will hurt him and I don't want that "

Sona how can you still love him even after everything he has done "

Mum , please it's just humanity , you should go to bed I will also sleep"

She quickly shut the door as her mother leaves picking up her phone to call someone who would make arrangements for Raunak release in two days .

Shivansh gets the information that Raunak have been released

How did it happen ? , Jay make sure you find every detail and how he was released "

Prarthana smile in relief

How can that criminal be released?"Bua Maa said looking at Prarthana in suspicion

I got him released " Sona said making her way into the house " Raunak gave me those evidence to actually arrest Payal , I was shocked when he told me he wanted to destroy the evidence but when Aunt Smita told him you are his brother he came to me "

Shivansh was still suspicious " why will he come to you ?"

He overheard me talking to a detective , so that's why and I saw Prarthana yesterday she told me he was arrested I couldn't watch an innocent person be humiliated "

Bua Maa smile " you are so kind Sona but don't underestimate those Zaveri they are all sly , stay away from them "

Shivansh grab Prarthana's hand walking to their room " you told Sonalika to save Raunak ? Why ? " His voice was harsh

" I .... I just know Raunak is not innocent "

Really then do you also know I am annoyed and disappointed by your attitude , stay far away from Raunak or else I will break his legs and he will never be able to walk again"

Raunak grab a kitchen knife heading to his car . Smita get agitated pleading with him not to hurt anyone. He was driving to Sonalika place , he climbed in through her window.

As he opened the window and got him , he was startled to see Sonalika looking at him as she sat on her bed

" Why will you arrest me ? You humiliated me , now I will really harm you "

What are you doing with the knife , my room has a CCTV and it will capture you murdering Sonalika Jaitley " she said unconcerned

Raunak got even more frustrated by her composed behaviour, she didn't glance at him her eyes was fixed on her laptop

Sit Raunak , I had to take that step without your knowledge to actually get Prarthana's trust on your side , didn't you say you want Prarthana, then make her trust you . As for Payal did she really think I will bring her out of jail if she labelled you a criminal?"

Raunak loosened a bit " what do you mean ?"

I told her if she implicated you , she will be out of jail but I didn't tell her for how long actually I meant she would be out of jail for three days and that's why you are released and she is in jail again ".

Raunak was impressed by her mind but he was still annoyed

Now we just have to attack Shivansh business, my father has a branch company here , we will use it to take all Shivansh deals and leave him with crumbs , once people hear it's Mr Jaitley company they will easily reject to partner with Shivansh since dad has a bigger name "

How will that get me Prarthana? All this is for yourself."

When he is broke , Prarthana will naturally leave him "

That's not Prarthana she is loyal and her loyalty is pure and great , in your toughest of time that's when Prarthana appears "

Sona smile " you must really love her but in the end she has chosen Shivansh over you , and even if I were Prarthana I will do same but still sadly you can't still let her go "

Loyalty comes first Sonalika and no more betrayals always include me in whatever stunt you are pulling don't do it alone and don't hurt Prarthana, the day you hurt her we are over "

Ok Raunak and also use the window the way you came in or else my useless watchmen might see you "

She got information about Shivansh sunshine project and chuckled thinking how careless he can be just because he wants to exact his revenge . " I will not be that stupid "

CHAPTER 3

Prarthana chopped vegetables sadly staring at Shivansh she didn't understand why he has been so mad at her recently, and speak so rudely to her .

Shivansh was working in the living room but was also troubled, he felt bad for how he spoke to Prarthana but didn't know how to say sorry . Their eyes met as he looked towards the kitchen . Prarthana immediately lower her eyes

Tanya and Sonalika came in chatting away they had gone for shopping and Tanya got Prarthana a dress which made her happy and grateful.

Sonalika smiled warmly at Prarthana almost genuinely " what are you doing Prarthana ? Can I join you ?" She acted aloof to Shivansh presence

Yes miss Sonalika come and join me , I am making dinner " Prarthana said innocently

She went to her and they chatted over food, Sonalika praised her talent in cooking and they bonded quite well , she also told Prarthana to call her sister Sona instead .

Raunak was driving home after coming back from the temple , he had gone to pray his enemies would be destroyed by him so he stopped to meet Shivansh " Hello everyone, brother I ...."

Shivansh got angrier as he called him brother " we are not family "

Is that why you didn't hesitate to arrest me , how could you arrest your own brother, my was so sad " Raunak made a sad expression getting sympathy from Tanya and Prarthana

Leave this place Raunak , don't think I will stop my revenge because of your nonsense I will send you back to jail "

Shivansh just listen to him "

It's okay Prarthana I just came back from the temple I went to pray my sins will be forgiven, I won't disturb anymore " As he walked out he slyly winked at Sonalika who secretly gives him a thumbs up

Bua Maa was also very furious " Shivansh don't believe him, he is a pretender "

I know that Bua Maa and I won't believe him , never !"

Shivansh Raunak has really changed trust me , he is now a good person, he just want to rectify his past actions "

Ofcourse why won't you defend him after all he is Raunak your very good friend and you must be so happy right now, he can now visit you as he likes in the pretense of meeting his brother"

That's right Shivansh, burn I will make sure you have no peace , I have been with you for a long time but yet you weren't this possessive about me but now I will use Prarthana against you " Sonalika thought in her heart then she saw Prarthana sobbing in the kitchen , her heart felt sorry for her

Prarthana decides to confront Shivansh but it didn't turn out well instead their argument got worst and they slept angry .

Prarthana and Tanya work together to decorate the house for Bua Maa birthday party. Shivansh had gone to work hoping to come back before time while Sonalika took Bua Maa out to distract her . They met Shivansh on the way and he told them to join in .

Sonalika took this chance to speak to Shivansh paving way for her next plan " Shivansh I know we are no longer engaged and you married Prarthana for revenge but why should you speak to her so badly ? If she wanted to be with Raunak shouldn't she not have left your house the very minute you married her deceitfully?

Sonalika what are you saying? She is just like Smita don't let these women deceive you " Bua Maa spouted

Sonalika smile " no Aunt Prarthana isn't like that st first I was hating her but after talking to her she comes off as a pure soul, Shivansh I know you don't like apologizing but you can get her a gift , maybe a beautiful saree "

They reached home and Sona went in with Bua Maa . Shivansh got a call from Raunak who tells him he will be getting a nice gift soon.

Shivansh ignore him walking inside he saw Prarthana in the kitchen with Tanya. Bua Maa was so happy to see the surprise they had for her. She thanked them all except Prarthana.

Shivansh and Prarthana met in their room and he gifts her a saree asking her to wear it for Bua Maa party . She was overwhelmed with joy hugging him, he smiled a bit and told her to get ready . She wore the saree , she looked dazzling in the blue coloured saree it was a cobalt blue saree . Shivansh saw her and was awestruck, he didn't take his eyes off her until she reached where he stood . His eyes made her nervous and really shy.

They invited some friends of Bua Maa and even Sona mum was there. Prarthana went to get the cake but instead got a shocker , it was scattered all over the place , Tanya had thrown it down by mistake as she was scared of the bug she saw , Prarthana stood confused and stressed on what to do . She quickly ran out of the house going to get another cake .

Everyone waited for the cake and Tanya came out telling Shivansh exactly what happened. He asked they waited more , Sona came in with a cake at that moment and Bua Maa didn't want to waste any more time , she asked Shivansh not to wait for Prarthana anymore .

He didn't budge but decided to wait for Prarthana. Raunak car drove in and Prarthana came out of the car, waving at Raunak . She got startled to see Shivansh

" I went to get a cake for Aunt"

Why are you wearing a different dress , what about the saree ?"

It's with me , I had to take it off because it got stained by mud , I will wash it off and wear it , let's go Aunt needs to cut her cake "

She already cut the cake Sonalika brought , I entrusted you with this celebration but instead you left and when you showed up you are on another cloth and with Raunak my enemy , how many times have I warned you not to be with Raunak " Shivansh fumed with jealousy

Prarthana tried to hold his hand but he angrily push her hand away and the cake fell apart on the ground . Prarthana started crying all her efforts had gone down the drain and everything was not right between she and Shivansh.

Some days later ,Shivansh shouted at Jay on the phone . He got a bad news about his projects , those that were meant to finalise deals with him withdrew . He punched his fist on the wall . Prarthana came in with tea . He ignored her and left

Raunak was in the living room talking with Tanya , he immediately stood up seeing Shivansh

" Good morning brother, I came here to give you some good news, I started working in Mr Jaitley company just a week ago and I have finalised some good deals . He called the companies name and Shivansh grabbed him by the collar as they were the names of those that withdrew

"Raunak Zaveri, what are you at ?"

Prarthana gets agitated calling out to Shivansh " please stop Shivansh don't hit him , he only came here to give you the good news and also tell you he is now trying to accomplish things "

Quiet Prarthana are you in cohorts with him ? , " Shivansh push Raunak out of the house turning to Prarthana

Shivansh I don't understand, why are you this annoyed at me ? "

Stop it Prarthana are you pretending to be lost right now ? Because of you Shivansh will now be destroyed by Sonalika and that useless son of Smita "

No , sister Sona said she won't hurt you anymore"

Stop acting clueless , those deals Raunak was talking about are supposed to be mine " Shivansh walk out of the house in anger

Raunak and Sonalika meet in her office, he took up his cup of coffee and had a sip almost vomiting, it was bitter

Sonalika what is this ?"

Black coffee , it's meant to be bitter right , so stop acting like a child "

Sonalika I add sugar to my coffee , this is too bitter "

Raunak some things are meant to be done the right way , so now will you have your black coffee in peace . I am sure by now Shivansh will be fuming he doesn't take defeat lightly and he will try every way to fight back but can he ? We have the upper hand now and yes Raunak come and see this I analysed the projects and made some changes "

Raunak smiled at her " you should stop overworking yourself Sonalika you will grow wrinkles , let's go for lunch "

Why are you being kind Raunak ?"

We are partners now and loyalty comes first that means we should look out for each other " he added

Sonalika was touched by his gesture she smiled to herself

Shivansh was working all night on his laptop and Prarthana didnt sleep either , she kept on giving him coffee to keep him awake and later slept off on the couch , he went close to her and chuckled as he heard her utter his name in her sleep. He subconsciously smiled at her and admired how beautiful she was . All this time they have not really have a good time yet she still supported him . He carried her to the bed to sleep better .

Prarthana woke up the next morning to see Shivansh sleeping beside her , her heart felt bubbly and she smiled to herself softly touching his hair .

CHAPTER 4

The next morning Shivansh got a little good news and Jay told him some deals are still saved and not all were taken by Raunak and because of the trust his partners have in him some didn't leave .

Shivansh gets ready for work and Prarthana help him in choosing out a suit which he quite liked .

She stood on the bed to reach his height arranging his collar , he teased her calling her short she retorted calling him a giraffe, he smiled and she complimented him about his smile boosting his ego

" You should always smile Mr Randhawa because you look even better and I Mrs Randhawa likes your smile " she winked at him and he playfully covered her face with his hand

" Sweet talker I know you are just saying all this you don't mean it "

I do , I really do " Prarthana smiled

She waved at him as he left and decided to confront Raunak and Sonalika but instead Sonalika was already calling her.

"Prarthana is Shivansh home ? , I am truly sorry about what happened I found out Raunak took over Shivansh projects , this must be my father's doing , he found out about your marriage and he wants to hurt Shivansh"

Prarthana feels somewhat relieved that Sona and Raunak had no choice . " Ok sister Sona but Shivansh is so hurt by it "

"I will come by and explain things to him "

They ended the call

Raunak called Sona asking for her assistance with his work . She teased him about how fickle he can be but accepted to help .

Smita was happy about Raunak change , he is now more responsible and he works more this time. " Atleast this will take his mind of Prarthana and Shivansh" she thought.

Shivansh work load was more but he was happy Prarthana supported him anyhow she can .

Raunak's work was also much and he didn't even get the time to think about Prarthana. Sonalika behaviours started rubbing off him . He would drink black coffee without sugar and handled things with calmness .

Sonalika went to see Shivansh, the sight of her pissed him off .

"You can't break me Sonalika"

No Shivansh you are mistaken I am not like that , my father is the one who made Raunak do all that . I know you won't believe me but it's fine , you hurt me and that's why my father want to hurt you but I will tell ....

I don't need your help I will do everything myself, I don't need you . You have done enough "

Sonalika walk out angrily calling Raunak " Shivansh doesn't have any regrets whatsoever , he is so egoistic and I really want to break his ego . That's why he left me without looking back , he only think about himself. He only loves himself "

Raunak ask her to calm down that he would be there soon . He came and took her away , they went to his house since no one was home . She saw Prarthana's pictures flooded in his room

" Are you that obsessed over her ? What is so great about her that you and Shivansh likes so much ?"

Prarthana is a rare gem , she has a nice heart and you can't compare to her in anyway"

Sonalika rolled her eyes " neither can you compare to Shivansh, it's good none of your family members are home if not your mum will find out you are still hating her other son "

They were back in two weeks and Sonalika was already feeling she was losing her urge for revenge, she didn't want to waste time anymore instead she told Raunak they should give the final blow

Prarthana playfully dance around Shivansh to distract him from his work but he doesn't even glimpse at her

" Prarthana when you are tired , you will sit down"

She smiled and took the laptop from him " Shivansh do something else"

Like what , ok let me explain something's about business to you" he smile as she listen attentively and even ask him more questions

Ok that's all I can say let me go back to work "

Shivansh no more work let's have dinner "

Prarthana was smiling to herself earlier she discussed with Sonalika and she encouraged her to confess her feelings to Shivansh which she was planning to do after dinner

They went to the sitting room just to see Sonalika and Raunak .

Why is he here ? Why are you both here ?" Shivansh asked out of suspicion

Prarthana and Sonalika embraced .

I have something to tell you and that's because I consider you my brother , my boss Mr Jaitley somehow found out about your sunshine project and now it's ours"

What ! , is this your grand plan Sonalika. Are you in cohorts with him to destroy me . So now you have stolen my project just to spite me . "

Sonalika exhales " what are you saying Shivansh Raunak and I knows nothing about this it's just something that happened suddenly, we just came back from a business trip and wanted to tell you "

They left faking sad faces and asking Prarthana to explain to him

Shivansh exhales sitting on the couch Prarthana softly touch his hand

Shivansh I know that's your project but now it has been taken away by sister Sona father , all you have to do is partner with Raunak " she smiles " he is your brother and it will even be more fun if you work with him , you both will get to know each other and ....

Stop it Prarthana do not say another thing about Raunak. Raunak is lying to you everything he is doing is just to defeat me and get closer to you ."

Prarthana stop speaking for Raunak,why do you like him so much " Shivansh angrily grab her shoulders "I won't let Raunak Zaveri to take everything from me he already took my mother and now my project . Everytime you bug my ear with Raunak . You just don't want to believe he is bad. because he is Raunak . I won't let him steal things from me , never !"

Shivansh angrily blurt out " you are not my project , my project and work are the most important things in my life "

Prarthana stand shocked and shattered, " Is the project more important than me and also I don't like Raunak, why do you keep saying such things I am already here with you but you don't believe my loyalty at all you only believe what you want to believe, why can't you just stop questioning my loyalty towards you "

Because you are not truly loyal , your loyalty doesn't lie with me instead it's with Raunak . I just lost my project to Raunak and all you would say is I cooperate with him . Go to Raunak Prarthana isn't that what you want to do "

Shivansh stop saying that I don't want to be with Raunak, yes I defend him but that's because he is not truly bad . You don't just know Raunak , before our marriage Raunak was a true friend and a good person."

Prarthana shakes her head in disagreement " Shivansh you are misunderstanding me again "

Shivansh angrily walk away while Prarthana sit on the couch crying. Gayatri called her asking her about her plans to confess , she broke down telling her Shivansh spoke rudely to her instead ,they ended the call and Gayatri agreed to meet her the next morning . Her phone rang and it was an unknown number , the person's voice seemed familiar but she didn't have time to think because the news relayed to her was that her sister was in an accident.

She wasn't thinking, she quickly grabbed her phone and ran out of the house crying , she couldn't inform Shivansh after all he wasn't happy with her he wants her to go to Raunak instead , she felt pained nothing seemed right .

A car which seemed to have been parked rushed right into her spinning her to the ground , her head started bleeding

Shivansh looked around for Prarthana then got a message from a number which just say " she is dead" . He bolted out of the room and then outside the house, the accident occurred not to far from their home so as he came out he saw Prarthana lying unconscious on the ground

" No , Prarthana open your eyes , open your eyes please he carried her .

Shivansh stared at her phone , he couldn't believe his picture was actually her phone wallpaper . He started blaming himself then his mind went to Sonalika. Is she behind Prarthana's accident just to spite him . He called Sonalika and threatened her . She was confused but immediately called Raunak telling him about Prarthana.

What do you mean Sona ? What have you done ? Didn't I tell you not to ever harm Prarthana?" Raunak voice was filled with anger " We are no longer partners "

Raunak I didn't .... " He quickly cut the call driving to the hospital

The doctor came out and told Shivansh he shouldn't worry , she would be conscious soon . He nodded and thanked the doctor.

Raunak ran into the hospital looking for Prarthana's ward . He saw Shivansh and moved forward to him .

How is she ?"

Shivansh ignored him turning away his face . They stayed quietly both glaring at each other .

Prarthana woke up and asked for Raunak . The nurse thought that was Shivansh and asked him to come in .

Prarthana looked weakly and saw him " Where is Raunak , I was with him

Shivansh was confused " what are you saying Prarthana?"

Prarthana gasp "we went to give out cards for our wedding why am I in the hospital and why are you here Mr Shivansh?"

I am your husband Prarthana" he tried to hold her hand but she withdraw her hand clearly afraid of him .

Raunak walked into the ward and she smiled " Raunak are you ok , why am I here ?"

Prarthana what are you saying , you were in an accident " Shivansh said desperately wanting her to just glance at him even once

Raunak was also confused but he sat closer to Prarthana asking her to forgive him for not protecting her enough

Shivansh asked him to back off calling the doctor, the doctor checked Prarthana and said she was fine but Shivansh insisted she wasn't , he didn't know why she isn't remembering him . The doctor said she might have sustained a bad head injury and now doesn't remember him , and he should be patient with her with time she could remember.

Raunak saw this as an opportunity and told the doctor he would take her home . Shivansh stopped him but seeing Prarthana being too scared of him . He leaves her hand

Sonalika called Raunak to know how Prarthana is but he didn't pick up .

No Raunak please pick up " she desperately kept calling " I didn't do anything "

The next day Shivansh went to see Prarthana but Gayatri stop him , she was disappointed and told him that stay away from them and Prarthana.

Shivansh wasn't budging he kept knocking until Prarthana opened the door weakly

Mr Shivansh please I am not your wife aren't you engaged to miss Sonalika."

Prarthana please come with me , I have something to show you"

What's that , I don't want to go with you "

He lifts her into his arms telling her to relax but she kept on struggling with him

He gently tuck her into his car but as he reach the drivers sit she opened the door and ran out

Prarthana " he rushed out to meet her but she had already shut the door on his face

Raunak went to meet Sonalika and they had an argument. She was deeply hurt by his words he called a sly Fox who only deceive and tell lies and also have no ounce of loyalty in her .

Bua Maa and Tanya both get worried about Shivansh for the past two days that Prarthana left he haven't spoken to them and wasn't eating. Shivansh walked to his room in a daze , he was missing Prarthana so much and everything reminded him of her and their picture on the wall wasn't making the situation any better .

Prarthana stared at the wall remembering Shivansh. " Is he really my husband?"

Her whole family weren't speaking to her about it and they equally agreed they made a huge mistake letting her accept such a marriage.

Smita warned Raunak to stay away from Shivansh wife but he tells her he won't .

" This happened because of Shivansh I won't let him hurt Prarthana more I won't "

Here is a restricting order for you Mr Raunak Zaveri to stay far away from Mrs Prarthana Shivansh Randhawa , if you are seen close to her you will be sent to jail . You must be fifteen feet away from her at all times .

Smita immediately rush in between them, she was already eaten up by guilt and had already started crying " please don't fight , this is all my fault I am sorry , I am so sorry if I never left you all this revenge thing wouldn't have started , if I had acknowledge you all this wouldn't have happened, please you both should stop now , please stop I am sorry , Raunak I am sorry , Shivansh I am sorry please forgive your mother . I don't have one son , I have two sons two boys and because of me their lives are in torment . Shivansh please forgive me. Please " she holds Shivansh and Raunak hand

Shivansh held in his tears looking at her hand in his and then at her " what are you saying?"

I am sorry , you can call me Maa you can tell the world I am your mum please just forgive me I shouldn't have left you no matter what " she hugged him

They had time to talk but ofcourse there relationship cannot fully be like that of a mother and son because of the years lost in between but Shivansh felt free and happy .

Prarthana accepted to meet him and he took her to their room showing her their photo together. She touched it and felt emotional like she belong in the home .

CHAPTER 5

Shivansh gently hold Prarthana hand " I know I have hurt you but I am sorry please you can't marry Raunak, you are my wife Prarthana. I didn't realise it would be so hard living without you until this past few days please forgive me"

Prarthana gently take back her hand clearly confused about his words but somehow they were soothing . She felt pity for him

"Mr Shivansh you have a fiancee and Raunak is my fiance , i think you are mistaken , i am not your wife "

No Prarthana you are look at our picture together , you always supported me and you would also stay awake when I worked late . Please just remember me , you have to remember me "

Prarthana hesitantly hug him patting his back " She will not forget you , she ...."

Her words cut short as she see Sonalika, she quickly push Shivansh aside walking out of the house. Sonalika stop Shivansh from going after her asking him to here her out for a moment .

He angrily push her hand away " speak my patience is low "

On the day of Prarthana's accident we talked and shockingly I was so happy to hear her voice . I even adviced her to tell you how she felt I would never plot to kill Prarthana. Yes I caused misunderstandings between you both but that's because you pushed me to it . You had no remorse whatsoever for hurting me , for not considering my feelings , you just did what you did and hurt lives .

Prarthana loves me and I questioned her loyalty ?" Shivansh shattered and heartbroken sit on the bed

You made Raunak your enemy because of your actions . I wanted to hurt you and get my revenge i just wanted a sincere apology from you but you were so smug and acted like what you did was right. I hated you but I didn't know in the end my revenge will also hurt me " Sonalika squat crying " i am so sorry but I didn't cause Prarthana accident "

Shivansh finally apologized to her sincerely and they decide to investigate Prarthana's accident together .

Raunak stare at Prarthana photos that flooded his room . He started packing them into a box then his hand paused seeing a photo of Sonalika, remembering her betrayal he also toss in her photo . Smita watch his hesitancy and realise he must have really liked Sonalika or even saw her an important friend.

"Raunak , why throw away her photo, she helped you to be more responsible"

She didn't mum she is a betrayer, and I don't accept betrayers "

Smita huh him tightly" Thank you son for accepting to let Prarthana go "

Shivansh and Sonalika try checking for clues asking people if there is any CCTV on the road .

They happened to see Prarthana and Sonalika gives them space to talk . Prarthana nervously ask Shivansh about his wife

She doesn't want to recognise me , are you still marrying Raunak "

Prarthana nods timidly

Why do you like Raunak so much ? Is he a good person?"

Yes Mr Shivansh, Raunak have always stood by me , he always put me first and defends me , he believes me too so I have no problem marrying my friend who understands me "

Shivansh heart sunk thinking of the times he misunderstood Prarthana and chose to not believe her , he hold in his tears wishing Prarthana a happy life and telling her to always take care of herself . Sonalika was shocked to hear his statement following him as he walk away from Prarthana .

" Shivansh have you lost your mind , don't you love Prarthana why are you giving her up . Her memory loss is temporary I know she will remember you soon , how can you let her go " Sonalika plead with him not to stop trying

Stop trying Sonalika, but I have given her up all this started with me didn't you hear her , Raunak have always been a good partner and he will take care of her . I just want to rectify things .

No Shivansh this is not you , the Shivansh I know goes for what he wants, he doesn't give it up "

That Shivansh only thought of himself and was selfish that Shivansh didn't heal and so bled on those that didn't hurt him . Every decision I have made have been selfish but now I want to be selfless" Shivansh drive off in his car leaving Sonalika speechless . She run after Prarthana holding her hand

" Prarthana please remember, you are Shivansh wife , you love Shivansh he is your husband"

Prarthana touch her face a tear dropped from her eyes , she spoke softly " miss Sonalika why am I crying for him , my heart breaks to see him like that , is he really my husband, I have been having dreams of unfamiliar memories but yesterday I saw myself going round the holy fire like I was getting married "

Men come from behind covering their nose and mouth with chloroform. Gayatri sees this running after the car shouting for help . She see Raunak driving her way telling him to stop

" Gayatri why are you crying?"

Prarthana, Prarthana have been kidnapped, she and Sonalika they were taken in a car , a red SUV "

Ok calm down go to the police station now and tell the police about what you saw and I will follow the car "

She quickly stop a taxi

Raunak speeds off in his car but stop seeing Shivansh on the road . It seems his car broke down. He decided to give him a lift and also he would need his help . There was an awkward silence between them . Raunak break the silence telling Shivansh about the ladies kidnap .

I will ask my team to track down their phones "

I didn't even think about calling their phones "

Get down Raunak let me drive you are too anxious don't get us killed "

Raunak scoff " you drive ? You can't drive faster than me "

They argue for a while before Raunak accept to let him drive

Prarthana wake up slowly looking around the unknown place . Her hands and legs were tied together

Miss Sonalika wake up " she struggle using her leg to hit Sona .

Payal come out of the shadows laughing maniacally at them

" How dare you witches arrest me ? I wanted to help you Sonalika but you still betrayed me and you " she pointed at Prarthana " why can't you just die , you were run over by my car and yet you refused to die "

Shut up" she slap Prarthana hard squeezing her cheeks " today I won't miss and when I am done with you I will kill her "

Sonalika smirk " you won't get away with this Payal Shah "

Really I got this building just to see you both burn in it , but not without your partners seeing it that's why I will video call Raunak now, no I will call Shivansh his expressions are golden let me see how he will react "

Payal smile then grab Sonalika jaw " I hate you so much , anyway I have a mission and that is to kill you "

Prarthana swiftly grabbed a glass on the ground using it to loose her hands while Sonalika continue to anger Payal with her words distracting her from Prarthana.

Prarthana and Sonalika signal themselves both using their tied up legs to trip Payal , Prarthana quickly loosen her own leg and then Sonalika . Payal screamed angrily alerting her men that was outside the warehouse.

Stop them "

Prarthana hold Payal threatening the men she will kill Payal with the glass if they come close to them . Sonalika quickly get the rope tieing Payal up and taking her phone, the men was told by Payal not to do anything. They smiled and held each others hand running out.

Payal screamed " what are you looking at free me and find them "

The ladies were running as fast as their legs could take them , Prarthana took the phone from Sona calling Raunak .

Shivansh and Raunak look at each other , then at the ringing phone which showed Payal name . Raunak picked it up putting it on speak out

Raunak I and miss Sonalika are in trouble we just ran away from Payal , she is the one who planned my accident she wants to kill us "

Calm down Prarthana, we will be there soon , where are you ?" Shivansh asked

Sonalika looked around and couldn't make do of their destination " we don't know, can you locate us through Payal phone ?"

Yes we can , you two should try to stay safe we are coming " Raunak said in an assuring tone

Prarthana quickly ended the call as she caught sight of the armed men dragging Sonalika to a corner . Payal pretended not to see them , then quietly tell her men to catch them .

Prarthana and Sonalika scream as the men grab their hands .

Let us go " Prarthana shouted fighting off the man holding her " you will not get what you want Payal "

Shut up " Payal hit Prarthana with a wood on her head . Sonalika scream asking Prarthana to keep her eyes open .

Shivansh and Raunak reach the supposed destination seeing the ladies being dragged off by Payal men . They rushed further fighting the man off and grabbing their guns from them . Seeing Shivansh and Raunak defeating her men , Payal in anger grab a gun from the ground pulling the trigger on Shivansh but instead Prarthana weakly drag him out of the way and the bullet pass through her skin lightly

Prarthana ! " Shivansh shouted shooting down Payal . Sonalika and Raunak rush to them .

The police arrived immediately and bundled the men .

Shivansh carry Prarthana in his arms running to the car.

At the hospital , Raunak tells Shivansh to relax and Prarthana would-be fine .

The doctor asks Shivansh to go in as his wife was asking about him and the others

His eyes were flooded with tears as he saw Prarthana, she weakly smiled at him . He went closer to her and hugged her, then kissed her forehead.

Why did you do that ? Are you insane? " He restrained himself from shouting further remembering she doesn't know who he was anymore

Prarthana stayed quiet then looked at Sonalika . " Sister Sona are you hurt ?"

Sonalika was overjoyed hearing her call her sister " Prarthana you got your memories back , you just "

Prarthana nodded then smiled at Shivansh " You didn't even notice I now remember you Shivansh "

I am sorry Prarthana, I caused you pain and everyone else, I am the problem it's not your loyalty it's just my insecurities" Shivansh hugged her once more

Yes Prarthana please forgive me also for deceiving you and creating problems for you " Raunak apologize

Prarthana smiled assuring them she held no grudge against them . Sonalika and Raunak left the room for the couple .

Shivansh softly touched Prarthana's face " I can't leave without you, I love you too much to leave you and also don't ever put me first above your safety "

Prarthana was dumbstruck she just nodded like a child

Raunak glance at Sonalika

Are you hurt Sona ?"

Where " he worriedly scan her body

In my heart, I should never had thought of revenge , I should have just left , I will be going far away that way I won't hurt anyone ,I am happy Shivansh and Prarthana are together again "

Raunak holds her hand " Don't go Sona and if you are going let your partner be with you, I still need your assistance in work remember "

Sonalika hug Raunak tightly " ok let's do that "
