Down at 112/8 after the first session - chasing 193 - India put up a heroic resistance, led by all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's half-century and supported by No. 10 Jasprit Bumrah and No. 11 Mohammed Siraj's phenomenal resistance. However, an unlucky dismissal saw Siraj depart in the 75th over, all out for 170. The victory gives England a 2-1 lead in the five-match Test series
