Still scratching my head after that episode, had to double-check if I was fully awake(it is 4.30am in the morning afterall). From “Yes, boss ma’am” to “I will do this my way but you still need to pay me”, a full 180 degree transformation.
From a red-light area, to jail, to a hotel, all in two days and somehow Rishabh has come out not just unscathed(i.e he is still getting paid), even had Appa apologising (who surprisingly has'd no heart issues despite the action, may be thats what his heart needs) and also expecting to be paid extra for the insult. Time to reconsider my profession yet again, being an actor really is the best profession.
Not sure where all this is heading, but I’ll ignore it for now, because, honestly there are more pressing things bothering me now.
Like Meenamma’s wedding, which is starting to feel like that never-ending pregnancy track from Kumkum Bhagya (for those who don’t know, that girl was pregnant for over one calendar year, possibly ten in TV years).
That said, it was nice to see the bride’s parents finally saving some money for a change, not handing out outrageous gifts to their damaad. I thought there was supposed to be a ritual, didn’t realise it was just to escape south Indian food(personally I never get tired of it) to drool over Punjabi food. Little did they know they’d only hear about dal tadka, not even see it. Also, why were they so desperate to eat? The food wasn’t even ready. At least someone had the presence of mind to give them a house tour.
On a side note: was Meenamma wearing the same saree from that temple ritual? Looked very familiar.
Moving on to Appa, he should really start writing a gossip column. What was that bit about exposing his damad in front of everyone? Odd coming from a man who supposedly loves his daughter.
And the hotel scene: Rishabh waltzes in, chats up the receptionist, but keeps looking around like he’s in a crime thriller, what an insult to Jason Bourne. If he was that worried, why couldnt he wear a disguise? .
Meanwhile, the Iyer family (lets not ask how appa got to the hotel before Shreyas who had followed Rishabh) just casually walks into the hotel, knocks on the room door, and no one stops them. Delhiites beware, never stay at this hotel.
Now to Boss Ma'am, sangath ka asar quite evident, the way she stitched up a story like a pro (okay, it only fooled the Iyer family, but still) and left poor Rishabh gasping for air.
Back at the apartment, did Karthik secretly abandon Soumya? Don’t recall seeing her return. And Rishabh-Bhagya’s fight? Not gonna dive deep, but it felt weird. He was so keen to take up the job and appeared to be enjoying his over the top gig but suddenly has issues with it now. What was even more confusing was him being all sweet to appa and resuming the fight right after appa had left. Bhagya surprisingly didnt lose it and raised some valid points but why did she stop. As she pointed out all he had to do was to inform her before leaving. She definitely should cut a days pay rather than paying more.
Nitz made an appearance but no kaddu😡. I guess he has every reason to be angry, not once has Bhagya thought of him.
And that random kurta scene, completely unnecessary. But I guess it was just for Amma to barge in without knocking just to see how in love they are.
Cant say I enjoyed the episode, also not a single light moment. Wonder if the writer has suddenly changed.
..Rishab was totally lost in her and she too was lost in his eyes..Guess it's true he knows he is falling for her so reminded her he is her nakli pati to draw a line..
