I haven't been much fond of Gill myself, and didn't like that he got the Captaincy. But then again, there are not many who can get it. Pant himself hasn't shown great capability, Jadeja is not fit for it, KL doesn't want it, Bumrah as he doesn't play continuously so won't be given, so Gill he bacha.

The way many men hated him, especially for his voice, which they think is girly. For that reason, I want him to do well. Dude gets so much unnecessary hate which is not even related to his performance on the field, and off the field bhi he hasn't done anything to get hate.

This series has to be the first time I actually saw him bat, otherwise, mostly I saw him for GT and I wasn't interested. His batting especially in this match has been superb, his shots were so pretty to look at.

Washington Sundar to Stokes, out Lbw!! Stokes wasn't looking comfortable against spin and that one extra over before lunch has produced a big wicket for India. Lovely drift from Washington Sundar, got the ball to dip in front of the stumps and manages to hit the pad first before deflecting onto bat. Stokes was just trying to block it off the front foot and was deceived by the late inward drift. Looked really close and the only question was whether it was pad or bat.
