Today's episode was a longer one ..didn't realised it till it finished .....

My 2 cents

I am overlooking all the loopholes which are decently visible throughout the episode.

Giving it where its due. ARS and Mannu scene was really done well, for me it was more effective than what we saw in BTS. Mona and Ayesha are so perfectly casted as mother daughter. While tables have turned now, a mother getting defeated by her first born. Shruti very well knows her sister, and so the replacement of dolls at the last minute and Mannu back in SM is what ARS couldn't think of happening with her. The vows were perfect. And so was the shocker of the transfer papers. ARS is tongue tied by now. And so has to bow down and agree for her stay in SM with full right.

Now straight to grihpravesh. SM were in crude shock to see Mannu on door. And the question answer round begins but not before Mannu getting a shock of seeing Vikku married. Well enacted by Ayesha. Malla comed ahead and questions her arrival leaving that gathbandan to untie. Raveena claims that it's broken and its ashubh. Malla doesn't care. Again implications???? Why and for what?

All go inside but Vikku remains there, wondering what is she upto. Mannu questions his love now. And the ritual happens. The makers are playing with rituals as if it is implicated to us that Mannu enters as Vikkus wife. The angst btw Manvik was well done. I know the relationship has been tilted but I cannot ignore the chemistry which Adsha has in them as Manvik. The angst and hurt which both of them served was so so good.

Mannu enters with Vikku following her steps. Again implied to us as they entered as husband wife. The share declaration was again well defined and all were in disbelief. Vikku was shattered and couldn't believe and hurts Mannu by calling her gold digger. (Seriously you don't know your girl) Mannu answers back so well that people change as per their needs. Vikku doesn't get it. Idiot. I am ignoring this nullified marriage and Nalla for my sanity. Bhaad mein jaaye yeh...

As I said both are idiots and Vikku thanks to the creatives have lost power of thinking. But this is what probably the makers have planned. With this jolt all the senses which he has lost shall be back. And he thinks logically now. Hope so again.

Even if the relationship of Manvik has changed you cannot ignore then and their feelings for each other. They still are together but distant. Let's see where the makers take all of us ahead.

Fabulous episode, full on entertainment, paisa wasool type. I don't want to give the writers any credit because they could have still done this without the marriage.

If I had the time, and the inclination, i would have written the same track without the marriage. Mainly because you have such actors Adnan, Ayesha, Mona, Hassan, Abeer, Rushad, and the chemistry between Adsha, Mona Ayesha, is so so good. They could have done anything with these people, but they chose this wedding.

Yes kal band baaja baarat of Saluja and RS....bas I should realise it's a normal episode and not maha one....

The episode is almost 45 minutes long but it was so good, I couldn't feel it at all. Episode begins with ARS waiting for Ravinder to give her information about Mannat's death. Ravinder nears the car with his gun, and ARS feels someone tapping her, it's the flower guy and she keeps swatting the hand away. Before Ravinder fires the gun (with ARS listening to him on call), Mannat moves the bouquet saying 'Hi Mom'.

This scene has to be one of the best, even better than the reveal scene. Mannat explains that Sruti asked to be careful becoz she was quite sure Sonia would attack them again. They switched cars and escaped.

ARS says, why have you come, leave! Mannat explains, she was leaving, ARS had got whatever she wanted, but ARS has to send people to kill them, and she says she is not going to run scared her whole life waiting for ARS to kill her or her mom.

She is going to be around ARS, in the same house. She makes her do the saat vachan, where she will protect Mannat, whatever happens, one of the vachans is also that ARS is not her mother, her mother will always be Shruti Khannam till the day she dies.

ARS asks her how it is possible? How can she live with her in Saluja Mansion? Then Mannat shows her papers, and how she got them signed. She also shows a picture of her in operating room, giving her liver.

The scene is long, Mannat has most of the dialogues, and ARS has expressions, both complement each other beautifully, and kudos to Ayesha and Mona , definite must watch. ARS is at first angry, then she almost collapses, seeing what Mannat has done.

My next post shifts to Saluja Mansion...

Saluja Mansion:

Vikrant and Malla are seated for the wedding. We don't see any other ritual, they are ready for sindoor. Vikrant hesitates, when he sees the sindoor, thinks of all the moments with Mannat. he thinks of his confession, and the heartless way Mannat walked off, he says this is the end of them, and this is fate. Ronnie yells at him to go on. And he applies the sindoor. Not a fake marriage, properly applied. . They get ready for the Gruh Pravesh.

Vikrant is looking absolutely dejected. He tries to walk away but he faces Ronnie, who is so angry with him, and makes him stand. I honestly hated Ronnie at this point. He should know his son better. but no, there is noone on Vikrant's side at this point. Keerat looks for ARS. Neetu makes one chamcha remark saying from now on Malla is her daughter. Vikrant hates it, when she says that.

Anisha has made the gurh pravesh, and she asks Neetu about it. Neetu explains that I am waiting to welcome the Lakshmi of my house, and in the background we see Mannat enter.

This scene is also very well shot. The whole family walks to the door. Anisha sees Mannat first. Each member sees her and their smiles fade away. Vikrant is shocked. neetu has not yet seen her and is smiling, facing inwards. She looks at the door and sees Mannat. Blah blah, you can guess the dialogues. Vikrant too unfortunately, you can guess the dialogues.

Malla walks forward, breaking the gath bandhan. Raveena screams, abshagun, this girl cannot handle the gathbandhan, how will she nibhao the marriage?! malla is smart though. She says, just like this marriage happened, we will also nibhao married life. Vikrant and I are best friends and we will live our lives together, this she says looking at Mannat.

Mannat is shocked and upset looking at Vikrant married to Mallika. Malla asks her what relationship does she have with VIkrant? Mannat quietly asks her what is her relationship? Mallla says we are married, Mannat looks at vikrant who closes his eyes.

ARS comes and stands next to Mannat and says let her come in. She is the partner in business. Gagan in his mind says, Plan B has started, superb Mannat! he gets everyone to come inside.

Mannat trips over the kalesh and steps on the kumkum ...gruh pravesh is done. And it is a beautiful scene. Vikrant supports her from falling. And they have a long angry eye lock.

Neetu starts screaming saying this girl is doing the gruh pravesh,and Mannat walks in with red feet, with Vikrant walking over it.

Mannat explains the transaction, and ARS corroborates it. Everyone is shocked. Malla keep saying she is married to Vikrant, almost as if to tell herself. Mannat tells her, I am not going to take anything of yours, you can keep whatever was mine once. Everyone knows what she means.

Vikrant calls her a gold digger and Mannat accuses him of changing as per the circumstance.

Last dialogue of Mannat, i am going to stay with my mom.. and ARS shivers, is almost in tears.

Bumper episode, everyone has acted amazing..

Superb watch in fact, must watch.

Vik ka reaction on seeing Mannat at the door lacked tremendously... not for Adnan but the writing... more on that later...

Mannat and ARS scenes were

ARS like a ruthless heartless woman she is, wants to hear Mannats screeam when she dies... Ravindar is live casting for her. But Mannat has one upped her already.

Mannat is in SM, behind ARS.

Their dialogues had so many undercurrents and meanings!!!

Ayesha had said they shot a fun scene.... I totally get it... Both Mona and Ayesha must have enjoyed it tremendously...

Mannat explains how similar she is to ARS and how she has learned to trap people like her. Shruti is her guide who doesnt believe either that ARS wont retaliate.

Mannat wants to stay in SM so that ARS cant directly harm her or Shruti in her own house.

ARS is stumped... by the end of the seventh vachan... she is crying ... such relief to see ARS defeated and that too by her first born

There is a moment where ARS asks her twice if she came for Vik and that Vik will marry Malla... even though she doesnt say it directly... Mannat till this point believes Vik will not marry Malla.

Pan Masala wedding is under progress... Vik recalls all the moments with Mannat and thinks he was wrong in assuming she had feelings for him... but he still doesnt believe he could be so deceived... recalls the blood sindoor while picking up one for Malla. Vik is hesitating until Ronnie prods him. Defeated and dejected... he fills Mallas maang with sindoor.

The pandit blesses them and thats when Keerat notices Aish is missing she questions her absence, but Neetu says Malla is my daughter which Vik doesnt like, he wants to leave but Ronnie again stands in his way.

Grah Pravesh setup is ready and at Neetus words for ghar ki laxmi, Mannat comes in frame

Everyone is surprised... Neetu and Malla's panic is brilliantly portrayed.

Gagan knows this was the plan... but Plan B... never meant to be taken into action... but since ARS has messed up... Mannat was indirectly forced into it.

Here's where the writers messed up I feel.... Vikrant should have shown a momentary guilt and panic seeing Mannat at the door... Adnan would have nailed that... just a few hours ago, Vikrant was calling for Mannat and waiting for her to come back and stake claim.... seeing her he should have had a thought that she came... maybe a bit too late.... but she came... neither the relief at seeing her back (without knowing the circumstances and guilt that he fell prey to the manipulation... ) didnt happen... was this shot pre backlash??? looks like it

Mannat is heartbroken seeing Vikku married.... Malla stakes claim on Vik and that hurts Mannat more .... but keeping a stern face... she asks ARS to defend her arrival... ARS asks to enter... a small nuance but when she enters herself... ARS tells Mannat... aao andar... ... Mannat stays put...so does Vikku.

Malla does another apshagun by walking ahead and dropping the gathbandhan... she hardly cares anyway

Mannat is too occupied and disturbed by Vik that she misses the kalash, stumbles and lands in the kumkum thal... effectively completing the ritual with Viks support, hand in hand with him.

Mann bharya and the intensity these 2 can bring out ... stunning

Vikku wonders why she is back now and Mannat feels betrayed that he could turn off his emotions in one night... that after claiming her to be his only and last mohabbat... why did Vik marry Malla?

Loved the montage when them greyed out... recalling all of their memories...

"tu mainu chadh jaana" and "aitbaar jara bhi nahi" is how ManVik are right now...

As always perfect choice of music

Neetu realises the ritual has happened.. screams which brings these 2 out of their stupor.... Mannat... now unafraid walks in with her red feet... vik follows like an obedient child

Mannat explains why she is in the house, ARS tells Vik Mannat is now the business partner... Vik recalls the demand... calls her Gold Digger... Mannat is upset but retorts back to him...

Sab shock main hai... Gagan behti ganga main haath dhone ki puri koshish main asks Aish how and why?

Malla declares she is Viks wife and Mannat asks for a room.. when Dadi intervenes... Mannat has a very apt dialogue...

"mujhe Malla se kuch nahi chahiye... vo sab rakh sakti hai ko kabhi mera tha...."

ARS understands it means her... Mannat is saying it for Vik... and Keerat is ashamed... small nuance but brilliantly done

Fits both... Mannat right now doesnt want either ARS or Vik.

Last bit is Mannat declaring she has come to stay with her Maa... and smiles lovingly at Aish which panics her...

Precap is Vik asking Mannat to give back what she took by dhokha, use vo chij kabhi nahi milegi ... ye jara apni few minutes ki biwi ko bol dena Vik baad main ...

Both Mannat has lost the Sir and Vik has lost the Ms.

Puneet ka chehra dekhne layak throughout...

Mona BTW was looking super cute... I mean ek to uska sab chala gaya... and she was looking like a baby lost in supermarket... jise bahot rona aa raha hai

All in all.... 1 week detox has helped me...

My Aman = Vikrant and their marriage rituals theory is in full swing.... so no issues
