@Italian Seriously 😭? So now narrative is armaan left with maira to stay away from toxic family. The same toxic family to whom he demanded to choose between him and his wife. And got angry when they refused to throw out his wife.

Maira too is seperated from her biological mother for no fault of hers. Just because she got beshtest father, it doesn't make it okay to seperate a child from her mother for years.

I am stunned with this narrative of abhira chose his family that's why armaan left. Wow.

In that case , if he took abhira with him & maira , they would both be away from the toxic family and maira wouldn't be separated from abhira and he wouldn't be separated from his silly girl.

There can never be any justification for what KP did with Shivani and Armaan. Even when Madhav left her for Shivani or had his own happy family, away from her. She feared that her son will never return. Nothing can ever justify her criminal acts, specifically when there is only 10% punishment, zero accountability or remorse from her side for what she did with Shivani and Armaan. Ideally, KP should be the last person to speak against Armaan for separating mother-daughter. KP should also be the last person to impose her choice Anshumaan on Abhira, till Abhira herself wants to move on. Even when she lost PH and PF both, her family no longer stays together, Sanjay betrayed her, Madhav Manoj and Kajal none of her children live with her or she had to live in poverty, that's not enough as punishment for this arrogant entitled character. Similarly there can be no justification for what Armaan did to Abhira and Maira. KP was an antagonist but Armaan is a protagonist.

Armaan never blindly loved or hated, like KP. Though his devotion for maa was blind devotion, his devotion towards zimmedari and debt was blind devotion. I thought Shivani's truth will make him stronger as a character. Being someone who left the mother (Vidya) he worshipped, because she wronged him and separated him from his biological mother, she let him be guilt-tripped that his mother died because of him. That growth and spine Armaan grew as a character is still memorable for me. Be it for 5-6 months but he lived away from them. He broke that cycle of debt and abuse. After that KP/Vidya couldn't control him, the way they did throughout their life. But then same Armaan won't ever guilt-trip the person he claims to love (Abhira) for harming a part of her (when their Maira was safe), the way he was guilt-tripped and suffocated, he won't ever separate mother-chid the way he was separated from his mother. He didn't guilt-trip the child the way KP did, he guilt-tripped the mother. He abandoned his life-partner just because he feared losing their child? He trusted strangers over Abhira and still claim to love her? He still consider himself a victim? He still think he should be forgiven?

Armaan will type sorry on laptop which KP didn't as you pointed out but same Armaan confronted KP and Vidya mata, left them for months. Armaan didn't spare them rightfully. KP didn't bend but Armaan also didn't bend infront of her. He didn't forgive in days, infact he didn't forgive KP in months. I remember a discussion on how Armaan didn't enjoy Kaveri Poddar's birthday party. He was forced to participate and dance. Which also means he didn't forgive her. His bitterness towards them for separating him from his mother, is one of the reason he could stay away from them for 7 years. Armaan wouldn't have forgiven KP, the way Abhira does, even if she typed sorrys unless she redeemed by giving his mother respect she deserved. KP is whitewashed completely in seven years but Armaan will be whitewashed in 7 seconds of saying "tum meri ho". Abhira will never get same confrontation scene or backbone as a character the way Armaan was given, or she won't leave Armaan, live in a different place away from Armaan for months to heal herself, before forgiving him for Maira/herself, that's the major problem. There won't be any time leap.. Abhira will forgive Armaan in heartbeat but Armaan didn't forgive KP easily. Abhira vs Armaan for minimum 3-4 weeks after Maira's truth reveletion, before reunion which is inevitable, is the demand of the script but there will be immediate reunlon

@ bold: yes, whatever you mentioned is the pre leap, leap and post leap narrative.

@red For me post leap writing is all over the place in terms of character perspective and more so in case of Ar (maybe because they shifted leap narrative once or twice and ended up with a not thought one, and are confused how to write him out of the mess now). Ar initial post leap narrative was that his decision was correct , Ab/ PH people seem happy without him/ pookie ( he considered himself the victim as you said) which made me think there might be a back story.. Him trying to reach out and being ignored or something.. But now the narrative seem to have changed and the victimization is not there/ reduced e. g. monologue when dv paper was signed. But Maira's truth is not being revealed and it might still take time but writing had Maira telling him about how Ab had kept presents for pookie. And his fear that Ab would take Maira away or impact of the news on Maira is not enough. Reason why I am saying writing is this inconsistency is there even for Ab writing.. Like narrative had her going to police station every 2 days, they introduced truck driver who could reveal things and Ab seem to have forgotten all abt him and police station. There are others also.

@green: i think Kv white washing had happened pre leap itself when just they turned Ar character 180 degree in a day, Kv's character was also changed in reverse as Ab supporter.

Contrary to few, I believe she will get a strong confrontation scene and even would leave when truth comes out. She won't forgive Ar easily ( even going by what has happened in the past I don't think Ab has forgiven Ar that easily except maybe on license cancellation, not including leap setup scenarios) . They can/ might take a time leap of few months to settle and sort out things.
