It's same like abhimanyu even though he won custody he gave up on the custody as akshara ne usko bacche ke zindagi se hi mita diya like how armaan did it with maira. Atleast maira knows that G2 is not her mother. But for abhir he was made to believe random man is his father. So his entire identity was in crisis when he met his real father.

The only scope for abhira to get custody is if G2 turns negative. Other wise it makes no sense for abhira to get custody when G2 has proved to be very good compared to her parents
