What a beautiful thread, mesmerising visuals, wonderful write-ups. Great job by the members of the whole team , who year on year work so hard to make this special anniversary a grand event to which all us lovers of IPK look forward to.
I may not log into IF throughout the year, but I do make it a point to visit the anniversary thread every year in the month of June. And then I go into a spiral, perhaps time travelling back to 2011-2012, deep diving into the lives of Arnav Khushi. The hey-heys and Rabba veys. The hearts beating fast and dupattas flying in slow motion. The fake hate and longing love. Nafrat, Mohabbat and everything in between. This is the abyss that still pulls us in.
It's been awhile since I wrote an IPK poem. It's been awhile since I saw an IPK episode. Its been a long time since I made an IPK edit or tried to make an IPK vm. It's been a long time since my ringtones had IPK tunes. It has been quite sometime since I did anything IPK. But the show hasn't left me. Because, there are so many little things in everyday life, that brings back memories of the show. Be it jalebis and gol gappas, hand bag and tomatoes , moon and stars, suits and payals ... the list is endless.
Saansein, dhadkanein, ehsaas, mehsoos, farq, matlab, what the, dammit, Hey Devi Maiyya, Nand Kishore and so many more words are synonymous with IPK. It's hard not to feel that emotion, not to have that bonding, not to sense that connection. It's hard not to be in love with Arnav and Khushi.
I may not be a regular here anymore, but move on, I haven't yet. Rabba ve
.
Happy 14th IPK Anniversary to everyone.
