lol just jumped in to say- the fact that this Neetu character turned out to be so third class is not surprising to me at all. The very first time I saw the actress as Vikkus mom I saw this coming.

Kids don’t won’t probably know this (gosh I feel old lol) but Suwati played a major antagonist in the show Pavitra Rishta (yes the show from ages ago). She was the FLs bhabhi and just hated everyone in her sasural and made life hell for everyone there including main leads of course. And she had this characteristic Background music and she was a super low class character there as well. For this very reason I could never imagine Neetu being anything but crass. And she hits new lows everyday.

Nothing against Suwati the person( who I’m sure in super sweet in real life) but she has this distinct style of playing her characters- they grate on your nerves with the expressions she makes- like that recent BTS where she argues with Vikrant about why he jumped into the fire to save Mannat.

She does something with her eyes (bulges them) and with her lips (some weird pouting) that comes across as super irritating and grating on screen.

Like ARS or even Malla for that matter don’t have these facial ticks (yet at least). Neetu’s character is made to be hated on screen.

Yes there are some expressions that express so much disdain & revulsion that you love to hate. And Neetu is so crass, classist & obsessed with her son in not so nice way.
