I have read the post about normal ML characters.Dont know about others but normal ML characters like Abhi or Ranbir never had that depth or intensity which makes them unique.
Abhigya worked but Pranbir as such never worked if the TRP ratings are taken into account.More than Abhi saving Pragya it was Pragya who acted as the shield for Abhi in many situations.
I prefer grey characters like RV or Shivansh any day over Abhi or Ranbir bcoz they are sharp-minded intelligent and calculative-qualities sorely lacking in other ML characters.
When Shivansh spoke those words of what a husband should do for their wives or bring the Raksha-Kavach for Prathana the scene somewhat looked real.He held on to Prarthana's hand indicating towards her that he would save her from that tough situation come what may.
Look how he smartly snatched that gun from those security guards and fought for her.I saw RV doing these kind of same things for Purvi till the CV's turned him into a boring one dimensional normal ML character right after their wedding.
Shivansh's character is unique now bcoz he's sensible sharp and calculative though his actions towards marrying Prathana was misogynistic.He looked into the Zaveris did a background check and made the killer move of taking over the Zaveri Mansion.
He sedated Bhavesh and saved Prathana unknowingly.This is the version of Shivansh I want to see. I don't mind Shivansh being ruthless or calculative till the time his actions don't hurt Prathana.
Even if they get separated at some point Prathana would always come back to Shivansh bcoz his love for her would be based on passion not on mere words like Abhigya or Pranbir.
Shivansh is hurt now and true to his nature he will be judgemental towards Prathana that does not mean he should always mistrust her otherwise it cannot be called a romantic story at all.
Abhi or KK might have saved their wives but there was nothing unique about their characters except for the fact that one was a Rockstar and the other one was a normal tycoon.
Raunak might have loved Prathana but their chemistry never generated that spark.Why did viewers like Prashiv-the sizzling chemistry factor.
Shivansh is not behaving like some normal ML.He looked hurt when Prathana did leave the house during that night that's why he scolded her as to.why did she leave the house? But the fault lied with him not his wife.
Shivansh has strong feelings for Prathana that cannot be denied not bcoz he married her but he clearly likes her even his own Bua Maa can see it clearly.He is hiding his real feelings from Prathana.
The only notable point is here how much he's serious about their relationship.Only time will disclose the real answer.
