It is a very unfortunate incident. Controlling crowds in such events is always a challenge. Instead of indulging into blame game, Central government and state government should work together to do damage control. The State Govt and police denied permission for victory parade from Airport to stadium. They allowed for a small function at Chinnaswamy stadium.
This is exactly why No one wanted RCB to win. Everyone knew the rowdy luru crowd won't be able to handle themselves. Ho gaya. Now enjoy your trophy celebrations and return the lives of those 10 people. This is on Kohli (I was gonna say team management but isko bahut shauk hai har jagah credit khane ka so be it) and his fans. This won't end well for him. Agree with you, Govt should take responsibility of this and Kohli and the Management should be held accountable as well, i remember kohli talked about this in post win speech so he should have advised people to be careful and respectful to others, I get the sentiments but what was the need of this?? Like why?? It's not the first team to win a trophy and I don't remember (i might be wrong) any such celebration after other teams won, knowing how rowdy these fans are it should have been the responsibility of the team and the players if they were going to do this and I don't agree that centre should take the responsibility like why would they, it was not a national event, state govt is responsible for it, those lives can't be returned and from now they should stay away from doing such things.Originally posted by: BeingBlunt

Kohli, in no way is responsible for this, but his fans are and as their leader he should take the responsibility, Allu Arjun did when the same happened during his movie release and I hope they have cancelled the event which wasn't necessary at first place.
