He said that the husband is like a shield a protector sort of a Raksha-Kavach for his wife then why the hell didn't he think about all this when his Bua Maa informed him that Prathana left the house on her own (obviously she left due to Bua Maa's Manipulation).Why didn't Shivansh depute his whole of manpower and his assistant Jay to look for her?

Yes Shivansh did save her a couple of times both intetionally and unintetionally from that Horse-riding chariot and goons like Bhavesh but does it excuse his deceit of marrying her and his misogynistic views towards her?

Shivansh is repeating the same mistakes RV did with regards to Purvi.Look what happened to Purvi's life bcoz of RV's baseless revenge against her-RV not only lost his own life but Purvi ended up in a mental asylum and serving a prison sentence even after 20 years of being separated from her daughter Prathana.

Care and Concern are two different things.Shivansh might care about Prathana but he has not accepted her as his wife that's the harsh truth about their relationship.Their relationship is like a Sand-castle soon to be broken by a gust of wind.

In short a wedding based on deceit cannot survive if the pair is not committed to the same.What will he say to Sonalika-that he married Prathana just for revenge same way RV repeated that same line to his ex-flame Monisha?

Sonalika won't tolerate Prathana's presence at all in the Shivansh Mansion.If Shivansh really cares about Prathana then he needs to bring her back and accept her as his wife-if he treats the relationship like a joke then viewers would also accept it like a joke only.

His mantra of saying I don't care about her at all is not gonna drive the TRP ratings for the serial towards on an upper trajectory.

If I am to think logically then PraShiv shouldn't even exist as he deceitfully married her and the only reason Prarthana played along is because it's her nature to accept everything.

ITV has a set pattern of throwing people together and starting problematic relationships that then become a miracle because of close proximity, cute banter (even if they aren't always well suited for it), and fighting off goons / playing detectives. All the while the woman will be accepting their relationship and the man will constantly doubt himself but still end up doing the right thing. It's their favorite formula.

Here too, it will be same. Your points are valid and true. I am not going to argue because I have nothing to say to any of that, if I wasn't watching this show, I would have said the same.

I don't know why you quoted me, but it definitely left me feeling defensive, even if you said nothing wrong and I have nothing to be ashamed off ― my way of approaching ITV is finding a pair I like looking at and then cherry-picking the plot and scenes for mindless entertainment. And then I analyse stuff based on stuff I like, because, again, this is for my entertainment.

tldr; you are right and you have raised some valid points but I felt bad because you quoted me. Maybe next time you can post or quote someone else.

I think one thing needs to be clear here that I have just expressed my opinion as do others regarding the scenes of Prashiv.Quoting a person or anybody else doesn't mean that he or she need to be defensive about their choices.

Every person has their own likes and dislikes.When Raghvi was introduced in KB I liked RV's character a lot bcoz he had that charisma and qualities which the other ML characters sorely lacked.He was sharp intelligent and knew the difference between right and wrong till his wedding with Purvi.

I had given a reality check bcoz I see Shivansh repeating the same mistakes RV did and the CV's straightway introduced him as the villain in the story by marrying.Prathana through deceit not even giving the required time to form a bond between him and Prathana bcoz Raunak-Prathana's chemistry was an utter failure.

The same CV's had shown RV and Purvi developing a deeper bond before their wedding.

I just hope that Shivansh's character does not go the RV way-becoming dumb and dancing to the tunes of Bua and Sonalika.

If the CV's want to cash in on the instant buzz Prashiv generated hope to see a good chemistry between the lead couple then.Even the lead couple is not clear-is it Prenauk or Prashiv?

Shivansh's character path is not clear at all.What does the guy want? He was asking Prathana as to why did she leave the house at all-Didnt he want to ditch her from his own life?

Revenge type characters don't normally work in Saas Bahu sagas if they are not handled properly storylinewise.Shivansh has potential but it's upto the CV's to make the character interesting for the viewers.

Honestly I'm touchy about the phrase reality check, so that combined with the quote triggered a overreaction. I apologise for that.

The CVs clearly don't know what they are doing. What I have gathered from clips is that they had a story for Raunak and Prarthana but it fell flat because the actors didn't have chemistry and majority audience thought Raunak's actor isn't hot enough (chemistry is subjective, attractiveness or looks are subjective but mostly viewers agree on somethings and for majority he didn't meet the requirements but Namik does). They then decided to rope in Namik but didn't think of a plot instead of getting them married. And now they don't have a story.

Nothing can be done to erase the marriage bit, and they can't jump into normalcy because there relationship is not normal. He treated her like an object, not thinking about the effects this would have on Prarthana. But the CVs can't project him as hero material if he remains ignorant, so they are trying to show that he cares but his ego won't let him accept that and blah blah.

All this could have and 100% would have worked if they didn't go with the Shivansh marries Prarthana route.

Instead, they should have shown that he discovers the groom swap, exposes Bhavesh, and the marriage is canceled. Then they could have postponed the marriage track with some stupid excuse. They could have changed the reception to some other celebration at Shivansh's where both Raunak-Prarthana were present, still giving us the dupatta scenes.

Shivansh would have blown up at Prarthana, accusing her of always knowing what's best and playing detective etc. Prarthana would have been hurt but also confused because she couldn't figure out why his words hurt that much.

Payal's call should have been received by Raunak, he should have blamed her, and that misunderstanding should have sent her out late at night. Then the kidnapping track could have gone the same way except Shivansh's lecture on patidharm that was mostly to distract the goons

Clearly, that's too much thinking for CVs. They made a huge blunder and no matter how many scenes they give us nothing will change that, and Shivansh's character is a mess because they cannot justify what he did by deceitfully marrying her. The rest can be explained if we put too much effort in it, because regretful MLs and the trauma card do a great job at smoothing things over, but it still won't fix the marriage issue.

And I sure as hope Shivansh doesn't become a puppet in Bua's and Sonalika's hands, but I doubt we will get to see anything else. They didn't even reveal that Bua manipulated her into leaving (I so hoped that Prarthana would mention that on top of holding him accountable for his words). And Prarthana's recent characterisation / shift in tone hints that it will be the same old FL gives it back to people who hurt her / accuse her of stuff and using her Kumkum Bhagya 😒 (Preeta sounded so preachy, hated that).

ITV never stops disappointing me so I try not to think too much, even if my favorite part is being neutral and discussing things. It's easier to mindlessly ship and then stop watching when that's going against my values / expectations. But I promise not to overreact when you are trying to properly discuss things (I hope our previous encounter doesn't turn you off from interacting with me (or others)).

I really love this scene how Shiv, spoke his heart. They had there nok jhok moment but what he said is true husband and wife fight, small or big you don't leave the house and neither should leave the house. Shiv last comment, to Prart, ghar chhodo? he same really surprise.

Shiv is forgetting why he married Prart, the lines are getting blurred cause he takes his vows seriously and he's seeing Prarthana the person not just badla to hurt Smita, thru Raunak.

The guy also making a lot of promises, Bua Maa & now Priya of taking care of his patni cause she's his responsibilities as a pati. I'm just waiting now to see how he handles Sona surprise

What do your think Shiv say's I liked it better when you didn't speak. I think it doesn't matter if Prarthana speaks on not Shiv notices and what is building is attraction to his Badla Patni
