I agree. It pisses me to the core that this nibba deliberately keeps his mouth shut when his mom is spewing venom against Mannu for something that was his fault. Though he does stand up for her in her absence (as per sbs) but the damage is done

Isski covert majnugiri & neetu ki overt vileness is now bordering insanity and bringing misery to Mannu. The writers really need to tone it down. Didn’t want to talk too much into it otherwise it would ruin everyone’s viewing experience but this Neetu’s unchecked vileness is unbearable atp

As of now, in front of Mannat, he is still continuing his "mean" boss attitude and also he is supposedly going to get married to Malla..so yeah, he cant show openly to Mannat that he is with her..
