You also described her feelings very well about the lines blurring from her side and and her accepting that love was brewing inside her now. I thought that you might change the ending as I wanted him to declare his love and give her the beautiful pendant he had been hiding from her all day. I too wanted to make them confess at first. Then I realised that there are more layers to ManVik that are yet to be explored before going for the confession. So I thought it'll be better if I aligned the ending to the current storyline.
