A blazing batting performance from SRH has propelled them to a massive score. After being inserted into bat, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head took their side to a quick start. The former in particular looked dangerous but he holed out against Ngidi after a quickfire cameo. Head departed in the next over as he fell to a knuckle ball from Bhuvi. That didn't result in any change in approach from the SRH batters though as Ishan Kishan and Klaasen looked in fluent touch from the word-go. Klaasen departed after playing a cameo but Aniket Verma came in and hit some lusty blows to enhance the momentum even further. Suyash Sharma in particular was targeted. Ishan kept going on his merry way, brought up his fifty and kept hitting the ball all around the ground. There was a phase when RCB pulled things back a bit as they conceded only 41 runs off 5 overs (13-17 overs). But, a strong finish from Ishan enabled SRH to post an above par total on the board. It's advantage SRH halfway but RCB have a powerful batting lineup so it will be an interesting chase...

Abhishek Sharma: I think when we (Head and himself) played the first over, we thought we got one of the best pitches this year. Somewhere we have to look out for our small mistakes. We need to take responsibility and take it till the end. Head and I we were looking forward to scoring a total of 230-240 only. We had a plan and we were going to go after it (throughout the innings). The score is good. I think it was pending from his (Kishan's) side. He was talking about this. This score is because of Kishan only, the way he played was tremendous. Let's see what Pat Cummins thinks today (whether Abhishek is required to bowl)
