It's not as good as Pavitra's shayari but I wanted to write something too.

Dear Diary,
Let's delve into the realm of love today. I know, I know, I write my thoughts about love everyday. I have been writing about love since one year. But today I'll write something slightly different. I'll shed light on the uplifting nature of love. When I was a teenager I read a book written by a renowned author. In that book, it was written love could change a person's personality immensely. Even though I liked the writing style, the story and the complexities of relationships depicted in the book, I didn't believe in those particular words. I always thought only a person's own will and efforts could change him. Years passed, I forgot about the quotes and the book. Then one day a girl came into my life. When I saw her for the first time I couldn't take my eyes away from her big, captivating eyes. There was so much depth in those eyes that they reminded me of my favourite romantic poem. Yes, her eyes seemed like a poem to me. They're as expressive as my favourite poem. When I like a particular poem it doesn't go out of my mind. I think about the poem a lot and appreciate its beauty. Similarly, her eyes didn't go out of my mind. I couldn't understand what was happening to me. That's how I fell in love with my Aparajita. She's the one who rekindled my interest in music. Her mellifluous voice inspired me to sing again. Her dedication towards music reminded me of my old days. Gradually, I started changing because of her. She made me understand the importance of speaking up when required. Her boldness is one of her most admirable traits. I started prioritising my own emotions over the feelings of others and I never did that before. My love for Aparajita helped me become a better version of myself. Now I understand what the author wanted to convey. Aparajita left me one year ago but my love for her grew stronger. Her absence made me realise her value even more. Aparajita is my strength, my inspiration and my best friend. Nobody can take her place and I'll love her till my last breath.
