At 34/3, Nehal Wadhera and Shreyas Iyer joined hands. Not only did they steady the ship but they also scored at a brisk rate to put the RR bowlers under pressure. Riyan Parag borke that stand as Shreyas holed out for 30. However, there were a couple more half-ton partnerships. Wadhera top-scored with a 37-ball 70, Shashank Singh played a gem - an unbeaten 59 and there was a cameo from Azmatullah as well.
