The thing is , almost all Islam majority countries don't allow to leave their community and take another religion. Even in so called secular countries , community pressure is too high and also threat to life , family etc. People can leave Hinduism and Christianity and convert to Islam without any effect to their lives or the lives of their families, but opposite is not allowed . Immediately, threat machinery , bullying , social ostrichization will start . So when they boast that people take up their religion voluntarily but they never leave it , know that, either they're not allowed like in Muslim countries or they're too afraid and shamed to do it in secular countries .
I do applaud the strength of the people who leave it. You need guts to take a stand against something you no more believe in. Faith or belief should come spontaneously and no one should be forced to upheld it .
