My take is also in line he says after , that he can’t live with not telling he what he’s feeling (or similar) that he just wants to share that he loves her, his confession or declaration without any expectation that she will feel the same….. he is literally bursting with love , so even if she rejects him it’s okay with him as he respects her that much.

But we also know he’s not going to give up and will win her over…..

Oh I completely missed this dialogue and the discussion . I love this and sounds similar to Viaan

I don’t think rejection is really something he has even thought about …. He was merely stating he doesn’t know how Mannat will react.

Banda devdas banjayega agar Mannat neh nah kaha toh… I think he got hints from Mannat too that she is effected by him.. that jealousy and the touch on her lips… he knows! But the question is does Mannat know/understand her own feelings…. She is way too preoccupied to even think about love!

💯 and why he didn’t just blurt out he loves her but kept kept telling her to listen what her heart is telling her - he knows she is affected by him too, but wants her to realise it.

So when he tells her he loves her, she can reciprocate and he would have presented his M pendant/proposal and happy days ……..but Malla/Neetu’s have wrecked his masterplan 😢 his risky plan🤣😂

He might be... but remember Vikrant Saluja doesn't take a no from Mannat ever...

He has always managed to make her go his way...

Unpopular opinion but I liked the one they used on OTT

Aankhon ki is more from female perspective... at least the part that is in this clip... whereas in the scene it was Vikrant who was doing gustakhiyan... and wanted to be excused for the shamelessness.

Mannat has been repeatedly humiliated for her social standing her obligation to the Salujas. ARS and Malla too have spared no efforts in taunting her for the favours she received because of them. She is affected by the physical proximity to Saluja Sir. She is in a vulnerable frame of mind as she is blamed/ manipulated by shruthi and Harneet as well. She has no friend with whom she can vent. She has no one standing up for her openly as she did for Shalini and Derek. So her feelings are all messed up and she hasnt processed it.

Vikrant has been raised with a lot of love comfort and pampering. He does what he considers right and the other accept it and are in awe of him.

Mannat matches his moral compass and standing up for what is right yet is perceived as being stubborn. Ronnie and Gagan sense their compatibility and fierceness. Ronnie is his sons cheerleader and has vocalised his support to the match

Gagans self esteem has been shattered by ARS and his dad. His drunken stupor has been the barrier to help him reclaim his status and he is left licking his wounds . He is able to see the stark contrast between Malla and Mannat . Mannat comes as a ray of hope that she can match ARS in smartness and give her a fight. Gagan backs Mannat in the hope thar she will foul ARS s schemes .

In this backdrop there is actually none who stands by Mannat for what or who she is. She does take a stance and assetts her rights over her BKB but when he puts on the boss mask and chides her she is clueless what to make of his blow hot blow cold nature and withdraws into her shell.

Vikrants risky plan has failed as it has made the difference even starker.

It will be a while for mannat to process she has romantic feelings for Vikrant.

Malla after the pendant revelation and hug claims Mavik are the end game ...did anyone notice this? Or am i mistaken?
