Nothing... He might have thought that he can explain to the Pakistanis..That's why the pursuasive tone... Too big of a responsibility to shoulder.... The thing is that people have done this before as well and have failed to convince Pakistanis. When the people of your country are attacked the general public expects you to take a very strong stand... Apologetic and cajoling tone is not liked ... I feel he has this need to be accepted by everybody, hence the episode that happened with him too on the Samay Raina show....
