Absolutely! I am a south indian, born and brought up in north india. I went to Chennai from Mumbai to do my engineering and it was so strict that no cell phones were allowed, girls and boys cannot talk with each other and many many other rules which had to be followed otherwise no hall ticket for exams. After watching this shot clip, I got a shock and wondered where is this engineering college which allows cameras on college premises.
Oh wow! Fellow South Indian here! I'm also a Tamilian, born and brought up in New Delhi. I still study here.
And not just engineering, even liberal arts and science students have no time for such idiosyncrasies. They are usually involved in loads of reading, discussions and debates, along with tons of lectures, assignments and research work. Many of us live in libraries, quite literally. No college or university allows such cameras-fitting yojnas inside the premises. Television and films have ruined the perception of college studies too much, really.
Sadda Haq was so over the top and far from reality and there are people who say it's the most realistic show that depicts mechanical engineering studies. 🤦♀️🤦♀️ But Ganja is on another level. Inhone IAS and doctor ko bhi nahi baksha. I heard that the first FL of this show could carry out all kinds of surgeries with an MBBS degree only and Miss JK IPS went to a college for studying only for UPSC. MD Gynaecologist ko bhi nahi chhoda. Bottle ki jagah TV tod Devdas bana diya.
