Every one has their own pov...his smile wss genuine when he was talking to arshi...so I took it as face value...he is happy with arshi...atleast now he should stop saying that without Jhanak he will die.

You are most welcome to your POV....but this is not happy Ani. We have clearly seen happy Ani with Jhanak and there is a notable difference in what he looks like as happy.

But if you want to consider this as him being happy and blame him, that's obviously your choice to do

R a Anirudh was always meant to die...for Jhanak..being in love with Jhanak..he was always meant to be a tragic hero! I could only doubt his ending to be different if Runak were married...Jhanak nahi mili matlab the foreshadowing that he wont live without her will materialise..and Jhanak will live...fulfilling the second part of the foreshadowing...jab main mar jaunga tab samjhogi tum...she will live rest of her life with the pain and remorse that he died because of her..

When Ani said he is going to village .. Arshi with ishaare was trying to tell Shubho to tell him not to go or to stop him.. he was telling her I will see to it … ( I am sure he will never listen to them as usual )
