There was major offscreen drama and favouritism in Rishta gen 3 which impacted the story. Leap 2 got good trps. But makers overlooked and dragged the story with the new character. HC made the right decision by leaving that PH which didn't give lead treatment to both FL and ML. There is a point that audience will tolerate and wait and after that they just lose the interest. I did not see any attempt from Makers side to fix the story after Abhinav's death. No veterant actor, who is passionate about the roles they take, can tolerate rubbish tracks they showed.

Some might say for business, PH will do anything and it is natural, supporting them mostly instead of actors. But actors' pov and their expectations need to be considered & maintained at least the bare minimum from PH side. That's how an organization manage himan resources. Actors are not slaves. They are no less than employees in the coporate sectors. When they get exploited they also leave the organization. Just like how fans support PHs does anyone support employers? Nope. Majority criticises them. Employers need to adopt humane principles to retain employees. It is the same for PHs when it comes to retaining actors.

HC had a certain goodwill he earned from shows working for almost two decades. I feel sad that some people know him only from YRKKH and bash him based on that show. His shows used to have a certain class and standard.

@b: I actually don’t blame them expecting ITV to show a non toxic, empathic, sane behaviour from a male lead is not easy and audience get bored easily. Because it’s foreign to them. Audience are actually like show me an a*shole who’s willing to be a project for the female lead’s loving ministrations phir baat karenge — this is also usually loved by twitter/ social media kids who find this hot :)

Seedha sadha aacha banda is not their game. Rude, angry, with a ton of anger issues, badly in need of therapy, throwing things, manhandling the female lead is their ishhtyle. Which is why I stopped subscribing to itv long back I can definitely do better with my time. Kuch aur nahi toh sow jaungi bhai 😴

I've been bashed several times on Reddit for pointing out Harshad has been a bigshot actor since his early 20s in 2007-08 era and has sustained his stardom doing shows where the male lead was as important as the female lead if not more. In Reddit, Harshad is the worst and most overrated ITV actor. Even Shakti carried the whole show Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi alone on his shoulders. I know people mock them calling them oldies and what not, but these guys do deserve the popularity they have.

They keep yelling “give new faces a chance” as if the industry isn’t already trying. The truth is, it's not about getting a chance anymore — it’s about retaining success, which is way harder. Look at Sumbul: after Imlie was a hit, Kavya flopped badly in trp despite being popular online. Reddit folks saying they didn’t vibe with her acting in Kavya. Same for Fahmaan — after Imlie, he delivered three back-to-back flop shows.

So when they call Harshad and Shakti "oldies," it’s actually insane. These two are literally carrying their shows on their backs even now, unlike most of their generation who vanished after one success, or today's "new" actors who can't even pull consistent numbers after one breakout hit.

Param seems to have learnt the art of handling the Ganjophilia infested all around him. All his interviews end with him thinking, "Let's see. Even I don't know."

About the sadistic audience and jobless social media kids, yep, they seem to drool over and have this twisted fantasy for obnoxious men who manhandle women and have serious psychological issues for her to treat in the name of romance. Wait till they see a similar creature like that in reality. They'll run for their dear lives.

I just realised they'll change the montage too! I really love this season's montage. Perfect positioning of the characters and the dried and fresh flowers. It's so beautiful and has this soft and poetic aura about it. Perhaps because of the poetry (one of my favourites from Ghalib) written in the background. And Ghalib's poetry is so apt for the dynamics and feelings involved between all the 3 characters.
