This story was boring from the start .. Murga simply made a bad decision.. if they had continued with the SARAJ story of YHM gradually everyone was getting accepted and the show had safe Trp even in extended version of 30 minutes

they literally gave the cushion to AAA

Aram se top 4-5 me rehta for another 7/8 months …now just trying to recover the last 10 bucks before ipl

Nutmeg ji you know I know the difference between serious trolling and just making fun of someone. Making comments on some actor being “saleable” or not doesn’t come into the trolling but serious mocking / criticism category. Aap ya mein nahi decide karte who’s saleable and who’s not. Commenting on the fact that she doesn’t have the aura of a lead is one thing, attributing the whole failure to her is another. It’s not like I’m her fan 🤷🏻‍♀️

My two cents in this: For me as an audience, Vaibhavi and Bhavika are equivalent as are Shakti, Hitesh and Param in terms of screen presence and acting. (Thoda unnis bees chalta hai), but the issue is television or even Kdramas as a medium, rely on female gaze (and in this time, even more, as a large % of viewership comes not from aunties, but Millennials and Gen Z), so creating a one-dimensional male lead whose only distinctive quality was 'being so deeply in love with female lead' was not going to work. If someone has watched Kaisi Ye Yaarian, Dhruv was a very introvert character but his intensity separated him from Manik and made him a worthy romantic rival.

Here they have made Neil's character so bland and instead of delving into Neil-Tejaswini-Rutu dynamics, they took family kalesh road by involving Juhi, Leena's grudge on Tejaswini, Manjiri Tai etc. Tejaswini's character had the most consistent characterization though I found her overreacting when Rutu told her he couldn't marry her asap as he needed to focus on career.

You can't have a male lead whose sole aim in the show is only to love female lead 24 x 7 and you can't have a female lead who has no other job than yearning for male lead.

In terms of writing and execution, Rajat was the best Ghum male lead in my opinion. Ishaan was given too much trauma to deal with beginning from his mother (supposedly) abandoning him, his girlfriend abandoning him, the shock of being responsible for death of Savi's family. The only reason Ishaan worked because Shakti was playing him.

Supporting actors ...Well many of them are from " crime patrol" but now the show looks like " crime patrol" with Savi as " angel of death bringing deaths along "...

Okay let me explain:

1. Actor saleability in television refers to an actor's commercial value or marketability. It means how popular, bankable, and capable they are of attracting viewers and sponsors to a TV show. One of the factors is audience connect. Tejaswini does not seem to connect with the audience.

2. I will give an example: Have you seen the channel promotions of all TV shows? Vaibhavi was very much behind in a combined creative released by the channel. Ghum lead was never this behind. Reasons: Low TRP and no audience connect.

3. Saleability is not my term. It is an industry term which I used in the context.

4. That's why I tagged randomlurker because she is one of the VERY FEW people who understand the business aspect.

So, I wasn't mocking or trolling. I only wrote it for someone who would understand the context.

Yes the drama as a whole flopped ...Every famous and successful actors were unknown when they started out as " new comers"

But Nutty none of the characters of current season is good all look damn boring and hell of irritating , it is not only Vaibhavi the plot is a failure...They must put an end to this nonsense.....No worries very soon TRP will go below 1.....Mujhe yeh dkhni hai...want to say "bye bye 👋 " Ganja
