Haven't seen both the shows from the clip, though I've seen some clips from them. Was there an equivalent of a divorce news phase that happened before this forced wedding in any of the two shows? Minor-moderate confrontations are fine - but something similar to divorce news one is what makes the mela worse. Divorce news ke time pe hi forced wedding dikhate toh it would've been better (at least for me). Second time is what makes it worse. If this was how it is in the two shows, well... God save itv.
Tbh fans hype regressive contents,they love to see hero as red flags,red forests, manhandling heroines and then weddings kaise bhi ho,then love story of leads and romance,and thus makers get courage and give worst regressive contents more and more.And you know fans love red flags heroes more than green forest heroes,for example in yrkkh3, Abhimanyu was red flag but Abhinav was green forest but fans loved red and trolled green and called him chomu
So when makers notice that their regressive contents get more hype then why they will think anything different? Even in Beyhadh serial,Maya was a grey shade psycho character who killed many people but people loved her and she was the only reason for which the show got hype and popularity.Now if I compare Arnav as husband with Suraj(Diya Aur Bati Hum) as husband,Suraj>>>>>Arnav but people love Arnav, even me and remember him more than Suraj.That's how fans hype red and ignore or troll green.
As you didn't watch these shows,In IPKKND,Arnav started to fall for Khushi,but later learned that her jiju love her and is betraying his sister,so he thought maybe khushi too love his jiju and he became mad as he loved his sister more than his life,so he blackmailed her to ruin her sister's life, will break her sister's marriage with his brother if she doesn't agree for marriage and even though khushi protested a lot, wanted to prove truth,he didn't listen, didn't give her time and forcefully marry her.In Ishqbaaz, Shivaay was more aggressive and dangerous than Arnav.Even though Shivaay and Anika had misunderstanding,but later they became friends(like AmVira),Shivaay started to fall for her but as a guy(friend of him) became obsessed lover of Anika,so he manipulated Shivaay that Anika wanted to spend one night with him(that friend) for money and Shivaay believed that and started to hate her and when his fiance left him during their wedding day,he thought Anika did this,so his ego was hurt and he forced her to marry him,she flew but he caught and you can see in the video
Now talk about our serial,even though we protested,shared our frustration for those regressive episodes of mela,other fans were more excited that finally AmVira are married couple, though some shared their disappointed but you know fans were frustrated more for pool incident where Virat saved Pri instead of Amu,they were in trauma for that scene more than other traumatic episodesSo I will blame those type of fans who never protest for those regressive episodes of mela for which useless makers didn't rectify their mistakes and give us one after another regressive contents because fans always praise them which they don't even deserve
