Chahal who has not had a great tournament so far, spun a web and bowled an outstanding spell well complemented by Maxwell, Arshdeep and Marco Jansen. Once Chahal found his rhythm, wickets fell regularly and it was left to Russell to win it for KKR. He struck 16 in one Chahal over but Arshdeep and Jansen combined to get Arora and Russell to spark delirious scenes in New Chandigarh. What a crazy game and shows that low-scoring thrillers still have a place in the T20 format, and this was a fantastic advertisement for that.

Maybe if we had Russell earlier today instead of Venky, that would've worked better. He usually plays well against PBKs, today also he gave that nice 6 6 4 over against Chahal... maybe if he'd come earlier with more time and less pressure, he could've done it for us today
