Yes. There's nothing wrong with his perspective. But the lack of concern over why, and how are these things happening in a new restaurant could have been shown. Plus, is Derek really the accused, at least that doubt should have crept in, after the locket that Mannat found in Mezbaani.

That itself would take the bite off what he says to Mannat. Just because she says, she knows, is no reason to trust her. Fully understand.

I want him to investigate and be two steps behind Mannat, in reaching the truth, if the directive is that the FL has to do this all by herself.

Right now, he is concerned about projecting Mezbaani in the right way.
