You respect someone's feelings if you consider them human.....Jhanak doesn't consider Ani human only....she is never shown reflecting on his feelings or emotions even once whereas in the case of other people she goes out of her way to analyze their emotions and give them benefit of doubt.

No one cares about him trying to atone for his mistakes....he will always be considered cheater and paapi while both sisters will continue feeling entitled to treating him however they want without any interest in taking care of him or his feelings
