FAQ:

1. Can participants read fanfiction? If so, how will the pages be counted?

So since most of you that read FF and other online fiction said that the stories usually have a word count & the ballpark figure for published books is around 300 words per page, we will accept these provided you log in the number of pages as Word count divided by 300 and round it up to the nearest whole number.

You can post the name of the story and the author, but you will have to send the link to teh story via PM to your team captain.

However, note that the minimum length should be that of the smallest novella i.e minimum 60 pages or 18,000 words.

Sometimes. There are good stories. But aadhe se zyada are bakwaas. If we can wade through it, we can find some good ones

Lizzie, I've a question. If I see there's a noticeable difference between the paperback's page number and Amazon's page number what should I do? I've decided to read The Locked Door for this reading challenge. I received the book from Amazon today and saw there were 270 pages (Including everything) in the paperback version. However, When I checked the app of Amazon I saw the print length (page count) was written as 320 pages. Which one should I write in my post after finishing the book? You said we should follow Amazon's page count only. But in this case, there's a difference of 50 pages!

Wow, Shonali you’re such a voracious reader !

A few years back, I used to read more than 8 books a month, but then I stopped and haven’t been able to get back into it fully.

I still read fanfics here and there, but when it comes to proper books, I’ve been finding it difficult to dive back in.

What genres do you prefer?

Oh this sounds so much fun! Sign me up. I generally read 4/5 books a month at least. Some months are better but that's my average so I'll take the 1-5 books slot!
