Horror:

She stood at the altar, heart pounding—not with love, but terror. His cold fingers clasped hers. "Forever," he whispered, voice hollow. The guests’ faces were pale, lifeless. The priest’s eyes were black voids. She turned to run, but the doors slammed shut. The dead don’t let their brides escape.

Genre of choice - Mystery/Thriller:

She stood at the altar, hands trembling. Something was wrong. His grip tightened. "Say 'I do,'" he murmured, too smooth, too firm. The priest’s smile didn’t reach his eyes. She glanced at the locked doors, the waiting guests—silent, watching. Her heart raced. Was this a wedding or a trap?
