I agree. He loved his Mummy ke haath ka upma as a child, but after they separated, Armaan wanted to block those fond memories out of his brain. So, he started hated upma as a way of coping with the loss.
I think they should show a scene with Shivani making him upma and him absolutely loving it. I'll become a favourite of his again. 
I understand. But after all they went through, I don't see any reason for abhimaan seperation unless either of them loses their memory and so called fam plots to keep them apart. If abhira loses memory, MG will do the honors and if armaan loses memory, kv is always ready to seperate abhimaan. That's why I said like that. Armaan should definitely get his mother's love. I agree 💯! This was just his coping mechanism that kicked in and made him block out any and every sense from all those loving memories from his childhood.. he remembered the ehsaas as he said but chose to forget the tangible memories.. 
I really do hope they show him like Shivani ke haath ka upma
isn’t that the very thing ..you can block out tangible memories and details ..but visceral memories stay forever !
