Unfortunately although Murkhta harps on woman empowerment, throughout this show she has always shown Ammu dependent on Ahujas for everything. Even when they lost their house, she housed them with her inspite of how they had treated her.

Even now, like you said, for sake of drama and constant humiliation, Ammu was living with Ahujas for the sake of that stupid fashion business bearing that stupid Mandira's venom.

Yes. The show had our attention mainly because Amruta was showcased as a strong-minded, financially independent woman but she became everything else other than that. One would think she must be in the HR section managing employees rather than in the bank seeing how she has been handling the Ahuja family from the start. Two other strong women characters, Bhavani/Aaji again dumbified to highlight the Ahujas/Babita. At least the Chitnis side of story should have been consistent (demeaned without a proper home), the show would have had a different fan following all together.

The fact V took the bullet is another one among all his deeds (on her list)...She couldn't live his family and her "sasural" after his sacrifice. Amruta hai hi aisi. Her love developped from that.

It's not that she stayed with Ahujas that disappointed me but she being "friend" with her Saas. It came out of nowhere as BA never regretted or sincerely apologized.

So, yeah BA could've blame her and she lives away from them even if she keeps contact with Dildar, Nimmi, and Anju 🤷 and be independent and all that we dreamed as you mentioned. Unfortunately, they wanted to keep Ammu always linked to them no matter what 😡

1. When Amruta realized the true colours of babita at the mela she wanted to go to Delhi for the job and leave this mess. But wanted her to fight and she may have to face so many difficulties ahead but continue fighting

2. In Goa when Virat was accusing she might be the reason for X’s entry again Bahavani is the one who convinces her to stay back ( I enjoyed that scene at the pool in Goa)

I agree with your post. However, the moment Ammu should've stand up was Mela! (Story-wise)

Since they wanted to keep Amvira together at any cost, that was where ABC the KMTMG Robin Hood, should've strike. It was okay for her to go back there no matter how the shaadi went, but to give them lessons and the time V realized his mistakes and fell for her, she would've left for good. But they didn't do it and more important Dildar was the one who said ajao wapass 😡

In short, they failed badly with the character Amruta Bhavani Chitnis. She was supposed to be a strong FL but ended up being just like the others. Perhaps because this is Zee TV or writers truly sucked.

I wish I could understand why content is so pathetic 🥺
